  • Hey Yall, today we're showing how to use a Bearing Race drive set from harbor freight. AKA, Pittsburgh automotive brand. Well take a look at the set and the different dies included, after well cover my thoughts on its value and quality of the kit.

    Also if you put the race in the freezer for a couple hrs it helps with the installation!

    Can you pull the race out with that same tool or do you need a different tool

      Not Unless you can get a clear path to the back side of the bearing. If you need to pull it out look for a "blind hole" puller.

    How did you find an old set like that? They haven't had the colored ones in years

      You have a couple options on that. A blind hole bearing puller, or a hammer and chisel from the reverse side. They can be very tough sometimes.
