Hey Matt. Bind "Lock/Unlock" on all robotics parts to one key. Locking and unlocking robotics parts prevents the wibbly wobbly's if I remember correctly. Locking a robotic part prevents it from moving robotically, BUT, it rigidifies the joints, so it behaves like a solid single piece. This should prevent the lab from randomly clipping through the shuttle bay during reentry from the G's it pulls. Additionally, you can now turn on same vessel interaction on all components. If you turn this on for the lab, then not only can you lock it down with the lock/unlock setting, but failing that, if the lab still moves around, turning on same vessel interaction will prevent the lab from clipping through the cargo bay when forces are applied. Just some thoughts on workarounds you may find useful in your robotics builds.

Others mentioned using same vehicle interactions but you can also drop the dampers on robotic parts to increase their rigidity. Also use auto strut set to grandparent when chaining things like pistons and hinges this will strut the parts to each other and not the main part of the craft. Also lowering the traverse rate will help this but will deploy the parts slower. Cranes don’t move that fast to prevent wobble.

Then I took off the outboard Mk0 tanks and all the wings, (Big-S deltas and a few of the wing-boards,) replaced them with Big-S strakes, and it got through 450m/s on a climb. I'm sort-of wondering if the Big-S strakes constitute an aerodynamic exploit all on their own! XD If you connect docking ports in the SPH, they're not docked in quite the normal way. When you undock them, because they weren't docked in the normal way there's nothing to stop them instantaneously reconnecting. It'll only happen once per flight and you can just undock them again.
