@You Tube Don't think so that the person who wrote this speech is the same guy who couldn't finish what he created. A game being unfinished was part of the plan too.
Check out the theories that you play as venom since ground zero. GZ is just a re creation of what happen as part of his brainwashing. When you think of it as that it really changes things.
@@TheFlatEarthChannelcom You dont play as Venom in GZ. During the infiltration of the GZ Base, Skullface was already attacking Mother Base, where both the Medic and the real Boss fell into a coma. The real Boss has woken up several months after this, while the fake boss was still in a coma for 9 years. During that time, they altered his brain with nanomachines and therapy to make him think he was the real boss, while the real Big Boss was building Outer Haven. Its a weak twist for sure, but i just wanted to clear things.
@@CODA96 you are wrong my friend, Nanomachines were not developed at that time. It was skullface parasite attack that was being developed and skullface wanted to over throw Zero and Big Boss together. But it was actually Venom who foiled his plan but at the same time there were many deaths as well and that's why Venom felt the guilt in the end and thus it was The Phantom Pain.
@@CODA96 also Big Boss in coma for 9 years not Venom Snake. Though I admit Venom Snake was in hypnotherapy by the doctors to feel like he was in induced coma as well and was already in deception to protect Big Boss identity. Everyone thought it was Big Boss in his hospital bed while the real Big Boss was masked with bandages the whole time and Venom took his place...the mental copy which Zero has adviced in the truth tapes
As far as I'm concerned, this is the final Metal Gear game. Konami has said that they intend to make more sequels, but they'll be Metal Gears "in name only". Its like someone trying to make a sequel to Lord of the Rings now that Tolkien is dead, or someone buying the rights of Harry Potter off Rowling to make a sequel of Harry Potter. There is no Lord of the Rings without Tolkien. There is no Harry Potter without Rowling. There is no Metal Gear without Kojima.

Also brings me a tear in my Eye, this was the last videogame my grandfarher bought to me before he died some moths later because lf cancer...
RIP MARIO 1941-2016
This feeling... infinity of what can be create. The greatest game we ever see, something what we never played before. Kojima taking our minds and making them free. I'm glad that i living in the same century with this person of game industry. Thank God.
"DON'T DIE ON ME DAMM IT!"
The best trailer ever! the best game ever too, still popping on PC with custom side ops. Infinite Heaven mod! Watching this in 2021-2022 (Dec 30th-21)
2022. still get chills
I was already hyped for 3 years after seeing the first trailers for this. Seeing this trailer brought all the different elements seen in previous trailers together, and clarified that it’s a single game. I was beyond hyped after seeing this.
Voltando aqui depois do trailer de DS2 pra relembrar que Kojima sempre foi esse cara louco e visionário. Melhor jogo de ação que já joguei na minha vida
Hard to believe this 8 years ago already
Just remember next year we can come back and say...I'm afraid it's been 9 years
@@ComicAcolyteshits crazy brah.. fall 2015 I was a freshmen at college…
this trailer got me into an entire game franchise, and revealed the greatness that is New Order to me
the last time ive ever been so hyped up for a piece of media
Best trailer to any video game ever. #1
won't stop hurting
It's the end of 2018 and i still love watching this trailer again and again #GOTY
What am I still doing here?? 🥺
1:45 - Code Talker's part still gives me chills for some reasons
Code Talker is clearly one of the best characters in gaming history
0:22 for me 😈
The hype is real, I need this game NOW. ;-;
I know what you mean, luckily I have the witcher 3 and batman arkham knight to hold me over.
ElAlca1 Me Too i want it now i can't wait anymore
in hindsight, the game is pretty shit
@@yashchenko999 Nope.
@You Tube Don't think so that the person who wrote this speech is the same guy who couldn't finish what he created. A game being unfinished was part of the plan too.
I came back to get that nostalgia vibe again
You know its Metal Gear Solid when you're just as excited for the next game's story as well as its gameplay.
3:27 is a reference to lord of the flies(a book)in which symbolizes barbaric individuals who are no longer civilized in the jungle.
6 Years, Best Trailer, all the words that deliver are stuck in your heart and mirroring the world we live in.
Skull Face the best villains.
Try to play games...
@@Face_with_open_mouth what
04:15 Goosebumps
Maaaannnnnnnn
Definitely top 5 games I've ever played. Up there with RDR2 and GTA 4. You can tell my taste in games.
I want to go back to not knowing the context behind the scenes in these trailers, the whole mystique behind were so good.
2022 still my favorite game. best trailer ever!!!
Crazy how much this trailer actually showed
This trailer deserves a spot at the periodic table.
September is a long wait.
One of the best trailers ever
I keep coming back to this trailer, it was so fucking great!
Still one of the greatest trailers ever made.
I always return here to watch the
trailer and the pain is still present to this day ☹️
Check out the theories that you play as venom since ground zero.
@@sarahphyllis5782 Yeah V pretty much sucks in story so i didnt remember every tiny detail.
One word: Incredible
I love this trailer- I love the music and how cinematic it all gets. I love this saga of games-
This is the best trailer I ever witnessed. It left a mark in my way of what art can mean for me.
Derah its like someone buying Star Wars and doing their own "star wars".
oh wait....
The last one should of been 4. Phantom pain is a joke
This game is going to be so fucked up.
But it will be amazing nonetheless.
ManVsBigBossurito
Can't argue with that.
;)
EscanorTheBrave Wtf ? This will be the best MGS ever ?! lel
mrL o
My statement doesn't contradict yours. ;)
EscanorTheBrave It feels so close to our real world it scares your shit off, right?
