This indicates a lack of rehabilitation centers in the Province, with all this pain and suffering, the ANC will still win on the 29th of May, as the people of the Eastern Cape, we do not like ourselves.
People who are not helping always have a say about those who are helping. The only sad thing is the pregnancy part otherwise can those who complain about the environment help with resources this man is doing a great Job, drugs are a problem and most people only speak and not help. This institution have no proper resources but they are helping this brothers and sisters could be in the worst state than this.
deal with the real issues of drugs and stop building rehaps cos u just waisting time doing that. drug dealers should just be dealt with accordingly.

I can see this Pastors efforts ,the government is USELESS ...The Pastor needs a little bit of assistant from the so called social workers that work for the government

My brother stopped smoking completely during the time he was there , till my parents believed he was ill-treated and took him out. To cut the story short, he's even worse than before. We'd appreciate any help 😢💔

I have a guy who attended this rehab, unfortunately his employer dismissed him because his supervisors lied and said they didn't know his whereabouts. I fear that he will relapse because of the fact that his supervisors are liars
Drug users r not criminals, they are sick, they just need hospital care not slave care...the church & others who pretend to help r just in it for the money...

I have been that church's member since the 80's and have seen many in chains being healed over time. I have never heard of the monetary charges being mentioned here so I guess some of the new church leaders see a way making money. Something not condoned by church. But I guess with new democracy and people's rights, things have changed.
I may not condone chains and think the chains of addiction are worse off to a point of slow death.

Knowing the trauma and dangers of the person rehabilitating can make me chain them as well, the church it doing a great job, you put yourself in drugs then you wanna be treated well/ nursed to quit them, sometimes a person must go trough hard times to quit them, the church is not paid for this is for the better of the nation, druggies pregnanting one another at the church now it is the church proble?

Am not sure of how rehab works or suppose to work, yes they dont have resources for what they have choosen to do. But chains CANT be the way. This guys are being treated worse than prisoners. Every action a person makes is influenced by something so we can not heal this issue with the same strategy. Understanding a person will better assist this process. Now am worried about STD's and all that spreads within ths PRISON

The fact that they chain their patients shows that they have no clue how to perform drug rehabilitation. When the patients go out they will start using drugs right again, since chaining will not lead to a change of mind.

@africaisking7817 besides stopping people from doing drugs what else can chaining people achieve? Will chaining someone stop them from being racist or stop someone from smoking cigarettes? The problem is deeper than than either you or me can comprehend but I can assure you that the state/government local, provincial and national does not care.

If you knew that its not easy to deal with those people. Those are adults, if they really want change they would try by all means to make that place clean. That is not a hotel, who is going to clean after them if they don't do it themselves. As much as they need help they should also give a helping hand
