the radicals must go with MK and EFF and the ANC members that are really interested and committed to build the country, must work with the DA and other parties
Exactly that will work for this country because, for now, it's about revenge, not for the people of this country. For 30 years, all the MK members they were part of the ANC until Mr Ramaposa became the President of the organization and of the country that is when the division started up until the birth of the MK this year...
There are two views for South Africa One view has it that everything should be nationalized, the government owning everything and then the government will parcel out things like the land to the native Africans. The other view is that the South African government should as it's primary task root out corruption and then move forward as a modern capitalist nation prioritizing business interests to make the country grow economically and, hopefully, a rising ecoomic tide will lift all boats. The first view is MK, EFF, IFP and some remaining parts of the ANC. It is a populist platform that unfortunately would be doomed to failure if actually implemented. There is an example on the northern border, Zimbabwe. It tried to nationalize everything and then parcel out to the native Africans and the country went immediately bankrupt and has never recovered. The biggest problem was the implementation and transition. You can't hand over a country and all of its services to people who do not have the expertise or management skills to pull it off. You must transition properly which means you can't just run off the people who were running things. Slow and steady with everyone's rights fully accounted for is the only way to do it. Unfortunately, this is not the populist perspective so you can figure that the three parties will continue to totally ignore the reality of the situation and continue to totally rely on magical thinking rhetoric. This is a very dangerous possibility for absolutely EVERYONE. If you don't think so, look at the massive migration of Zimbabweans into South Africa. For them, it beats starving. The second view is DA. The DA is white and populism understandably wants nothing to do with whites running things. Actually, an ANC / DA coalition could be just what South Africa needs to successfully move forward - if done properly. Remember Zimbabwe. The biggest problem there was that the transition was not done correctly and Zimbabwe went belly up. If the ANC were to still be clearly in charge in the coalition, but that DA expertise and recommendations, particularly from a technical, business and management point of view were taken and implemented, you could, conceivably have the best of both worlds. The knowledge and expertise transition, thirty years later, is still the key. If cooler heads prevail and if there is a spirit of cooperation where we're all in this together and, together, we can be strong enough to make this work, then you've got a positive outcome. However, if an ANC / DA coalition was contentious and not cooperative, then it would be a disaster and set the country back, maybe forever.
@@decepticon8000 So it was the sanctions that caused people who had no experience farming and no support once they started farming to fail at farming? ;Magical thinking won't make plants grow. Expertise does.
@@ortforshort7652 I don't know why you chose to phrase your question like that. But Zimbabwe is poor because it was sanctioned and cut off from international trade. And anyone who decides to work with them gets punished. That is why that country is poor. Now why not acknowledge that if you are confident in the point that you are making?
Zimbabwe was artificially tanked by sanctions, just like Haiti and Venezuela. I don’t believe absolutely everything should be nationalized. But the “DA people” have way too much money and property. And a few million of them definitely need to be deported.
@@decepticon8000 We know that there was a horrendously implemented land reform program that much later the government tried unsuccessfully to walk back (that, in itself, should be evidence that even the government realized it screwed up even if you don't) and there were sanctions which certainly didn't help. There was also a drought. As far as my confidence level, it is high that if suddenly put people in a position where they don't know what they're doing and there is no guidance and no planning to help them moving forward, what you will get is failure. And that's what you got. And, it is a very cautionary tale. If you want such a major transition to succeed, it needs to be planned well, done so that all parties involved come out whole and there must be ample support for a long period moving forward until the newbies are running successfully in steady state. None of that was done in Zimbabwe. And it would have been an abject failure if there were on sanctions.
Probably because they don't want the genocidal maniac apartheid place called Israel to have any say in what happens here. Why would you want to vote when you are not even here but in israhell? If you support Israel and what they're doing then you don't have a right to vote. Apartheid ended in South Africa and it is no longer supported here.

ANC is afraid that the DA will tackle the corruption inside the government. For 30 years the ANC looted the country dry with corrupt tenders. The only way forward will be a ANC/DA/IFP coalition. 1994 power shifted. 2024 the voters voted for a power shift.
[:" During WW II, Russia saved America and Europe. There's no common sense efforts for establishing a level Humanitarian or business playing fields; it's craziness- and no Nation's Peoples are Safe."]
The ANC are the minority majority. If all the parties come together, they can divide the spoils and slowly chip away supporters through service delivery.
What I dislike about the DA is the party's behavior acting as if South Africa is an American colony. The apartheid mentality is very obvious in their attitude.
Good morning to all and all love you all amen Lord amen and all bless amen Lord amen I love all Lord amen ❤my hart to all amen Lord to love you all amen
It is clear from the comments that few people understand the intricacies of South African politics and almost nobody knows what THE CONSTITUTION requires now with regard to forming a coalition government. Coalition governments are not the end of the world. It is common in Germany, etc. If South Africans of different parties work together for what is best for the country and its people, things could be better than before!
Now is the time for all parties to work together to save our Country. I am not a ANC supporter and also do not see any party or leader who can lead South Africa on his/its own. The election results show this very clearly, so stop setting ultimatum or conditions. The DA got 20% support which means 80% does not agree with their policies. The ANC with 40% support can rule as a minority goverment but then will be forced by the EFF and MK parties into a more radical direction. If possible all parties must show real leadership and join this GNU to do what is good for South Africa and all its people. It is the way forward to do what the people asked for in this election. I think we must have good relations with all countries, stay a member of BRICS but also trade with the West if they are willing to accept us, they also must not set ultimates to force us in a direction. We have a lovely Country we must just stand together and build a New South Africa going forward

Ramaphosa needs to resign
He's not going anywhere
the radicals must go with MK and EFF and the ANC members that are really interested and committed to build the country, must work with the DA and other parties
Exactly that will work for this country because, for now, it's about revenge, not for the people of this country. For 30 years, all the MK members they were part of the ANC until Mr Ramaposa became the President of the organization and of the country that is when the division started up until the birth of the MK this year...
Where should the DA radicals go?
You mean the racist DA that's building and selling the country to USA, FOH

There are two views for South Africa
One view has it that everything should be nationalized, the government owning everything and then the government will parcel out things like the land to the native Africans.
Why is it that everyone who uses Zimbabwe as a cautionary tale always omit the fact that Zimbabwe was sanctioned?
Hahaha, elections are over, and lots shedding has already started
Not in cape town ...hehe ..viva DA ✊🙌✌
Negociate, based on what? As South Africa has no money? Who will they be Tricking?
Y cant we have 2 parties .....these plenty of parties its a worst of time
Hi, jaffa gate guy in Jerusalem, I was denied my constitutional right to vote in SA elections in Tel Aviv.
Apartheid ended in South Africa a long time ago. We don't need a vote from someone living in and supporting an apartheid state of israel.
Conceptually, the current situation in South Africa warrants a COALITION GOVERNMENT, not a GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL UNITY.
Vivi anc build GNU with all the parties those who voted by the people of South Africa to be represented in the national assembly, parties those who have no problem agreeing, with them those who don't want to go forward leave them alone. We are all south African under one government black and white Amen.
So are we saying that teaming up with the DA is the logical thing to do?
South African Citizens should be GREATFUL FOR A N. C. ALLIANCES, not mentioned. To
Allow ANC to
continue, ANOTHER 30YEARS MISREPRESENTATIONS.
The ANC has had the same age da for 30 years only the DA can save South Africa
ANC is afraid that the DA will tackle the corruption inside the government. For 30 years the ANC looted the country dry with corrupt tenders. The only way forward will be a ANC/DA/IFP coalition. 1994 power shifted. 2024 the voters voted for a power shift.

The ANC are the minority majority. If all the parties come together, they can divide the spoils and slowly chip away supporters through service delivery.
Why are ANC politicians quiet on the nonsense Cyril cooked
ANC wants a National Coalition coz if it chooses DA, in the next elections ANC percentage will significantly dropped.
Some people just want to bring back apatheid.
But mamwe matongero soo haaas fair 10yrs ndedzei can't this case be revisited
What I dislike about the DA is the party's behavior acting as if South Africa is an American colony. The apartheid mentality is very obvious in their attitude.

Zuma is old he sold the country to the Gupta now he is going to give the Gupta our beautiful land the indians
If the ANC ever dares form a coalition with DA it will be done as a political party.
The new government must treat all fair coz south africa dont only have black and white living here come correct
