Little Mermaid is my 2nd favorite Disney movie next to Aladdin. Anyway, my favorite part is when Sabastian is in the kitchen and the chef is there preparing crabs, it's just a funny scene, because when a crab is on land that's one of the worst places you want to be is in a kitchen when a chef is there and preparing crabs.
I just like when the animated movies can show a scene with the animals and what might be one of the worst scenarios they can be in. Like in Lion King which is also in my top 5 favorite Disney movies when Nala is hungry and she tries to eat Pumbaa not knowing that Simba is alive and that's his friend, and that they recognize each other from when Simba and Nala fight and Nala pins him.

My hope, rather than my expectation, is that Disney will add something to the relationship between Ariel and Triton. They already made the Sultan a much better father and ruler in Aladdin's remake, so maybe we will finally get that conversation.
To me Triton was always an example of how to get your kid to mistrust you, thereby putting them in danger. Being overly strict and having a "my way or the highway" attitude only results in kids who are scared of you, become good liars, and won't tell you if something happens to them. The whole Ursula situation never would have happened if Ariel felt she could trust her father. And we needed an apology, an explanation, not just him turning her human without a word.
