Love the video as always, solid advice with examples, will definitely do the cardi & boots look! 😊 I love Autumn, mostly for the fashion, but also for walks in woodlands when it's crispy cold and the leaves crunch when you walk on them. It rains a lot in my corner of Ireland so the leaves are usually as slippery as banana peels, but on the odd crispy cold day running through and jumping on dry, crispy leaves, makes me feel a bit like a kid again. I bring my son with me so it looks like it was his idea to do it 😁
I find transition looks during autumn or spring, rather challenging. It's not just a matter of colour or sleeves but patterns and fabrics as well. In this case to stick with basics and classics can help a lot. I love your outfit ideas in the video and would pick any of the garments and outfits you are wearing for me. I don't love the oversized blazer trend - I'm going to avoid it - I look SO much better in blazers that are either cropped or body skimming, form fitting with some shape - at 5-1 and 115 lbs I look ridiculous in the oversized looks of any article of clothing - my 2 cents lol
Same! I have a similar body type and cropped jackets are just more flattering on me. I’ve tried an oversized blazer and I look like a little girl playing dress up in mom’s closet 🤣
Same here. I am 5"4 ,petite, slim. Oversized anything looks ridiculous on me. My daughter said I look like a boy scouts wearing grandpa's clothes. My husband said I look like a homeless person.
I have same proportions and I completely agree. I have to find cropped versions of jackets/ pants and mini-legth dresses/skirts for proper scale on me. Do u have knee high boots? Im searching for ones that have skinny calf and short shaft height?

Good wake up call. Am 74 and my closet here in Dallas has always been definitively one side summer; one side cooler/“winter”. This video shows me I can mix the two sides for even more outfits 🙀
I’m in Florida so we only have like 2 or 3 days of cold but I was having a problem trying to figure out how to make some outfits for colder weather because I have to go up north quite a bit for the next 6 months or so. Without buying a bunch of things I’ll probably never wear again.
I do the same thing and decided to create a new "middle" section between the two sides with a limited amount of summer items that are appropriate to use for warm to cool weather transitioning. I'm in the midwest so once it actually becomes cold weather I'll just move those items over to the summer section. 🙂

I’m wearing my four linen trousers (different colours) that I used in summer and just adding a cardigan or a sweater over my summer tops or thin summer blouses. Actually, I wish white T-shirts could be a summer staple for me, but I always end up with sun lotion yellow on the collar, so I wear white more often in the winter. Need to figure out why others don't seem to have this problem... Great tips as always Erin!
I always only wash whites in cold water, and never dry them. To tackle stains that are already present, try to wash your shirt as soon as possible. Plus, don't forget to pre-treat the stain. Here are a couple of pre-treat options: 1. One scoop of Oxiclean in cold water. Let your shirt soak for at least an hour. 2. Baking Soda, Dawn, Hydrogen Peroxide: I haven't tried this one yet, but here's the link to the directions: www.everydaycheapskate.com/how-to-remove-yellow-armpit-stains/ Hope this helps. Yay Erin, I have sock-boots from years past in flattering tones I'm now inspired to pull out and wear. My Qs: 1.) Are some heel or toe shapes too dated for this fall season? 2.) Do you vary the shaft height placement on leg? if so, 3.) What determination guidelines do you use for shaft height? would hemline/hemlength, "slouch"-factor, bare leg vs hosiery texture/density or body shape be factors to help decide? especially drawstring top styles. For heel shapes, anything goes! 2- Really depends on the length of your pants. Would you consider doing a reverse build wardrobe? You have great videos on how the wrong shoe can ruin your outfit. But a comfort shoe is parament for me. I struggle even with a kitten heel sometimes. I would love to see a video where you build outfits around a comfort shoe. For example, I just purchased the Steve Madden Darlaa Bootie. I could use some ideas on how to be stylish in the combat boot trend.

Actually, I wish white T-shirts could be a summer staple for me, but I always end up with sun lotion yellow on the collar, so I wear white more often in the winter. Need to figure out why others don't seem to have this problem... Great tips as always Erin!
I always only wash whites in cold water, and never dry them. To tackle stains that are already present, try to wash your shirt as soon as possible. Plus, don't forget to pre-treat the stain. Here are a couple of pre-treat options:
1. One scoop of Oxiclean in cold water. Let your shirt soak for at least an hour.
2. Baking Soda, Dawn, Hydrogen Peroxide: I haven't tried this one yet, but here's the link to the directions:

Yay Erin, I have sock-boots from years past in flattering tones I'm now inspired to pull out and wear. My Qs: 1.) Are some heel or toe shapes too dated for this fall season? 2.) Do you vary the shaft height placement on leg? if so, 3.) What determination guidelines do you use for shaft height? would hemline/hemlength, "slouch"-factor, bare leg vs hosiery texture/density or body shape be factors to help decide? especially drawstring top styles. 1- Pointed, toe, or Almond are on trend...we are really only seeing round toes on chunkier lug sole and combat currently. For heel shapes, anything goes!

3- When pairing boots with skirts and dresses you have so much more flexibly. Anything goes, but just watch that the hem line and the top of the boot don't compete.

Would you consider doing a reverse build wardrobe? You have great videos on how the wrong shoe can ruin your outfit. But a comfort shoe is parament for me. I struggle even with a kitten heel sometimes.
I would love to see a video where you build outfits around a comfort shoe. For example, I just purchased the Steve Madden Darlaa Bootie. I could use some ideas on how to be stylish in the combat boot trend.
