That's why she is the best among Sophia and Brynn.. They want to show off every time they dance.. They're not like Maddie.. She made every dance effortless..

I feel like Maddie really gave it her all during this dance because she felt she had to prove she was timeless, that no matter how much time passes, she would always dance to her best abilities. This is the best I've seen from her dancing technique wise.
She slipped almost 2 times she turned on her heel at the end of her turn sequence so i thought she shouldve placed 3rd overall.

it's not really her dancing I'm impressed with, it's the fluidity! all of her movements were so graceful and there was not one moment where she was stiff, and I think that's what maddie (and maybe kalani) have over the other girls, it just flows so smoothly! i hadn't really payed attention to her solos since season 1, so watching this, I was just in awe😍
Maddie truly does have a gift. I cannot even count how many times I come on youtube and want to watch this solo over and over again. She is beautiful, the song is beautiful, and the dance is beautiful ❤️

Jump ahead 4 years to 2017 where she has 2/3 books 2 teen choice awards, a peoples choice award had roles in movies, has a clothing line, has an amazing boyfriend and gone on a tour with Sia, she is forever growing and forever adding something to her resume with her endless list of talent its phenominal to see such a young beautiful dancer blossom into such a mature teen inspiring 90% of the world and conquering the world

My favorite solo from Maddie. It just tells the story of her life, she has some struggles but in the end she's always successful. A beautiful dance that definitely felt magical to me.

Look I love both Chloe and Maddie and sure sometimes Maddie can be bratty, but everyone whether you like Maddie or Chloe or both, you can't deny that Maddie has perfect timing, impeccable stage presence and great facial expressions but people who don't like Maddie are just afraid to admit it cause they know she's an amazing dancer and in my opinion, the best

I don't think that's very true look at more of her solos to me they're all different steps I think when Chloe fans come on Maddie's dances they always hate on her because they're jealous that Maddie is Abby's favorite dancer and that's not fair at all it's not her fault!
Most of the girls do use the same steps over and over again. It's easier for them because they learn 1-3 dances per week which is crazy. It's just that with Maddie, it's more obvious because most of her dances are lyrical.
of course they are jealous of maddie because maddie gets all the attention and all chloe gets is hate
I think anyone with common sense would know that no one cares about Abby or Abby's opinion. She's a cow, who uses bullying as a teaching method. I don't just feel this way because of how she treats Chloe, but how she speaks. She seems very rude and narcissistic. She only really cares about herself. I actually feel bad for Maddie because she is put in an environment with Abby and is forced to put up with all these injustices against her friends and almost phases them out because she would be hated by Abby. I mean, it's okay for Maddie to do that, because she is only 9, but I don't think anyone should put up with Abby. Also, the fact that Maddie wins only adds fire to Abby's burner and it's all for the wrong reasons. To shove it in others faces. If Maddie and all the other girls left the studio and let Abby fall flat on her face, the world would be a much better place! Also, most of the complaints are more towards Abby and not Maddie, so it's not really jealousy-- it's more about pointing out the injustices/unfair treatment of the girls.
Well they can't leave...they're under a contract.

I think this may be my absolute favourite Maddie solo.. :)
Pretty as usual, but I don't believe that Maddie will ever truly grow as a dancer until she leaves Abby. She has basically had the same solo for three years, and although her turns have improved she's kind of stuck because Abby would never dare challenge her precious Maddie. It's sad really because she (actually all of the girls) would be so much better if Abby actually made her compete against someone better than herself. Look at the new team; it's a new version of Maddie and her back up dancers. Abby will never challenge that girl and because of it she will never have to face the reality (at least until her first real audition) that there is always someone better out there.

Maddie has a very bright future. I think a brighter future out of anyone.
Actually I think that Maddie has a lot of opportunity to grow at ALDC. Someday she will leave and go on to bigger things, but she is only 11 and right now I think she's right where she should be. And she has had many wonderful opportunities such as acting and being in Sia's Chandelier video which has done big things for her career, so I think she's doing just fine. She's flawless and she will have a huge future. :)
Why would Maddie leave a studio where she is praised loved by the instructor and the favorite? She wouldn't leave to another studio to be a back up dancer and plus the show has given her great opportunities like being in sias chandelier video and its great publicity for her future career as dancer.
+Audrey Kaehr "brighter future" is subjective. Not all of them want the same things so is a personal goal.

I love Maddie, she's an amazing dancer, but the fact that she always wins doesn't sound crazy to me. She always gets the lyrical and contemporary (sometines jazz) routines; the things that she's good at. Abby gets always mad at Nia or Kendall if they don't win, but they never get something that they're good at. That makes me kinda sad...

Maddie is great at what she does but it's always always the same steps, same turns, same movements, same jumps.. That's why she's so good at them.
I see your point. However, look at Chloe's solos, specifically Wreck it, Red with envy, Into me, Follow you, and lucky star. Those are very diverse. Nia's dog solo and Goodbye Maya are different as well.
