I have been to EVERY Tool concert in Australia(including 3 in a row plus the times they came back 6 months later) , but this version of "Lateralus" in Mexico 2014 TOPS any live version I've seen in concert OR any RUclips version. The Improvisation and performance on this are like no other. Thank you SO MUCH for posting it. Incredible.
Remember what the band had shared a few years ago. They had recorded the extended version of Opiate song. What if Tool surprise us with an album itself (Live/rerecorded) featuring the extended version of Opiate, Lateralus, Prison Sex, Stinkfist, etc. \m/

I do have a feeling though, that the reason why they have done the last 2 years of touring with a strict rule of "NO FLASH CAMERAS", totally opposite to what they've always done, is because they are gathering footage for a LIVE DVD.
I really hope they play this live again! I saw them in 2010 when I was 8 years old and I don’t think they played it live. I was supposed to see them in June but the tour got postponed. I hope that by 2021 they start touring again and play this!

I wouldnt be suprised It is already one one the songs from Innoculum. They say they always give hints if whats coming. Those hints seem to be pretty diffetrent from the songs which are trying to evoque... besides, they change the direction if the songs very much... So much so that they have to twist a whole Song.
