Hi Danny and Teresa, For what my opinion's worth I don't think there should be anymore changes to Graceland .If they start ripping out walls and making the original rooms smaller or larger that would ruin the history of the property. I don't know what Elvis fans think about this it's the first time I've heard about it. There's a Historical Marker at Graceland how that that justify structural changes to the property? Danny, have to agree with you about a favorite live performance. I bought the album recorded in The mid south coliseum a long time ago. I thought Elvis was really enjoying performing for his hometown people. I liked the way he interacted with the fans like “ those binoculars look like a bunch of frogs up there “ and I think he said his belt buckle had an owl on it. Also “ honey yo got a bad case of laryngitis “. He was also talking to his family in attendance. I liked all of his live shows, but this is my favorite. You could tell he was having a good time.

Vernon purposefully left space between Elvis and Gladys their graves so his own grave could be layed between them. The reason for this Vernon said: "Otherwise there would be no resting in peace because of Elvis and Gladys never ending squabbling" which they used to do a lot in real life. Vernon always had a special kind of wit.
there's a really good interview with the security fellow (not linda thompson's bro) that vernon had oversee the moving of gladys and elvis' bodies to graceland. It was interesting and informative. I think the interviewers name is klein but not sure.
