That was an interesting question about tattoos. So many Elvis fans have him tattooed on their body these days - more women than men! My husband died 15 months ago and on the first anniversary of his death I had a tattoo of an angel on a motorbike on my left arm (close to my heart) because bikes were his passion. I was so pleased with that tattoo I decided to get Elvis on my right arm (photo of Elvis in leather from the 68 special) and everybody who sees it say it is fantastic. I am 76 years old and had never had a tattoo before. My late husband would be horrified!!
Not to take anything from Elvis, but as a fan I’d prefer that the next project involving Elvis would be something solely inspired by his music. A mama mia/note book style where Elvis and his music in the background and a story of fans of his falling in love with each other… a homage to dedicated fans if you will. It’s what abba did so well with mama Mia because telling very personal stories can sometimes get messy and misunderstood. Mama Mia the movie avoided that but kept their music alive for the next generation. Im sure younger generations do look at their grandparents for inspiration and that’s one way to do it.

Billy has said many times HE decided to leave Graceland cause he was not happy there anymore after Elvis was gone. I understand that. After my husband died I wasn’t happy at our home any longer. I had to leave it.
