Congratulations on your sobriety. Praise the LORD ! I saw Lisa & snapped a quick selfie with her on January 8, 2023. Outside of Lisa and Linda’s relationship, I think the fact of the matter is, Priscilla and Elvis were living separate lives, separated and divorced for longer than they were together during Lisa’s life. Elvis longest steady girlfriend when lisa was little (which Elvis was alive) was Linda. So Lisa probably saw Linda as Elvis steady long term girlfriend who loved and cared for him, including when he’d get sick and was in hospital. So when something happened to him, naturally she called the woman she considered was closest to him (outside of Ginger how as there), and that was Linda.
Hi Danny and Teresa and Everyone love your Channel Thank you for the video. I feel Elvis should have done a lot more T.V . Specials I feel that would have made him feel better about his Career. God Bless Much Love Everyone Nurse Jean
It hasn’t always been the saddest for me, but recently “Memories” is at the top of the list. It was played in the video for my Papa’s funeral in November. He definitely would have been a buddy for Elvis. They had the same spirit. I could list a dozen similarities. Thank you for your videos during the time I was grieving. They were very uplifting.
Your so lucky to have both ur parents. I'm 62 lost my Mom last yr lived w/her for 61 yrs & was her caretaker for 15 yrs. We shared a deep bond so close I use to say she was my soulmate from another life & she felt that way too. She was an 😇beautiful, loving & gr8 sense of humor. It's been excruciating pain every breathe I take thinking of her puts a dagger in my ❤ & soul. God Bless ur parents 🩵🩷 ur so lucky to have them! Have a good time making new memories. Elvis sure has down to earth very cool family folk! We never gotten over losing Elvis. I still get upset when I hear him sing or watch his movies. Basically all the songs u mentioned I can't listen to either so I just listen to his upbeat songs. He truly was a special gift from God a light a legend & never in our lifetime will we have another Elvis!
@@levinolan636 I'm so sorry 🙏😞 for such a huge loss & ur heavy 💔 as it's the absolute worst feeling in the world, nothing can compare! They don't teach us this 💩 in high school not that it really would've made a difference bcuz nothing prepares u for something so castostraffic. I know it's part of life but it doesn't say we have to like it. I guess it's the price we pay for extremely loving our awsum Mothers!!! What a 1derful xtra special gift a blessing from God 👏 really!! We got pretty darn lucky on that bcuz many in life don't. A few yrs back, I found out my poor cousin (my Dad's niece) growing up her Mom would flick her hard in back of the head if she misbehaved or got sick in the middle of the nite making her feel like a burden, unloved. The older sister (13 yrs older) basically raised her bcuz Mommy Dearest didn't want to be bothered. If my Dad ever knew or witnessed that, he would've told his sister off & put her in her place. So... when that horrendous huge unwelcomed wave comes @ u again & its so severe where u feel like u want to jump out of ur own skin cuz it's too painfully deep, I'll be here anytime. Take care & be good to urself!! 🩵
I am truly sorry for your pain and your and the loss of your dear sweet mother.. I don't even want to know that feeling.. many condolences to you and yours
Thank you both for all the videos an like me in our hearts keeping Elvis memories precious in our lives.. The song that makes me cry is Kentucky Rain.. Plus many more. My mom who passed lived in Kentucky. She also loved Elvis. I miss him so much. I watch his movies so he is always close to me an my family. God bless you both an Billy an Jo.. ❤❤
Happy to hear your daddy is doing better. Oh, a world tour would of been so fantastic for all of his fans all over the world 🌎 However his out of this world "1973 Aloha Hawaiian concert " would of never happened and that would've been a shame because after 50 years, the pure enjoyment of watching that concert over & over again 😍😍
Oh my goodness, the song that makes me cry...And the Grass Won't Pay No Mind...I fell in love with this song the very first time I heard it and cried...Elvis's voice is pure and the words are out of this world. Love you Elvis, Christine :)
From what Sam Thompson said he’s the one who called Linda and passed the phone to Lisa. Also, in case anyone forgot, in 1977, there were no cell phones or pagers. We don’t know if Lisa was calling back home to Los Angeles and couldn’t locate her mother because apparently Joe Esposito has been trying to contact Priscilla that August 16 and couldn’t find her because Priscilla was running errands. He had called Priscilla sister Michelle trying to find Priscilla. So if a grown man, Joe Esposito couldn’t find her. I’m sure a 9 year cold Lisa couldn’t. The fact that Priscilla wasn’t home and Linda was doesn’t mean Lisa didn’t call her mom first. When Lisa‘s book gets published I hope she addresses what exactly happened the day her dad died.
Saddest Elvis song for me is a toss up between Softly As I Leave You or Old Shep. Other Elvis songs touch me, like If I Can Dream. Man, when they showed If I Can Dream in the Elvis movie, I actually did tear-up. Seeing it on the big screen and hearing Elvis sing it in that big voice was one of my favorite parts of the movie. Congrats on your anniversary, Danny.
Hey Danny and Teresa, just wanted to Congratulate you Danny on your 5 yr anniversary! Awesome 👍. Loved the video today good to hear that Mr Billy is improving. ❤ U All!!! ❤❤❤❤
When I got in my car this morning to go to church Sirius XM radio 60's channel played Elvis, You're the Devil in Disguise 1963. What a great way to start my day hearing Elvis sing.❤
Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary Danny! Thank you to Teresa and your family for supporting Danny! The saddest song Elvis sings that makes me cry is "I'm Leaving" with a close 2nd to "Unchained Melody" .
Congratulations on your 5th year of sobriety .I know it's not easy, though it makes it a little easier when you have someone special to do it for .keep up the great videos.
One of the saddest songs for me is Funny How Time Slips Away, especially because it's Elvis singing it. Many artists have covered that song, and most do a beautiful version, but hearing Elvis singing those lyrics, makes my heart skip: "I gotta go now, I guess I'll see you hanging 'round. Don't know when though, Never know when I'll be back in town...."
My last comment I was being goofy silly making it all up on the crabcakes & brocolli story & fake hubby. I just wanted to make u laugh cuz laughter soothes our souls. I'm glad I found ur channel as I'm a huge Elvis fan & still to this day it's too painful to hear certain songs & here I didn't even know the 1 of a kind sweet giving soul that he was! I would tell u what I personally think of Colonel Tom Parker but I know this is somewhat a family channel & the utube popo would block my comment anyway. It's so 1derful hearing stories of Elvis & his very cool down to earth family folk! God Bless u, ur sweet wife & ur loving parents!! ❤
God love you Danny. 17:5217:5217:54 Congratulations on your upcoming 5 yrs. You and Tersea give us lots of laughter. Ty and love you both 💓 The first time I was at in the late 90s as we drove up that beautiful drive to Graceland the bus/head phones were playing Welcome To My World so that song always chokes me up...18:05
Thanks for the update on your daddy. As a fan and subscriber of EFM also, wishing him to get better and better each day as I know they enjoy their story telling time with Danielle and all of the fans. Congratulations on 5 years of sobriety!
Good evening Teresa and Danny - hope you have had a great week so far and how the rest of it goes just as smoothly!! Such great news about your dad !! Prayers will continue for him and his recovery ! Great to hear he only had another week of ABX to go and he's able to start putting some weight on it! As always great Q&A's ...I love them ! Can't thank you enough for taking the time a few times a week to do this for us fans ! Danny so proud of you on coming up on 5 years !! That's awesome my friend ! Prayers will continue for your continued success! God bless you both & love you both ..maybe a great rest of the week - Charlie
Glad Billy is making huge waves on his recovery. Congratulations on your dry journey. As for Lisa ringing Linda, she may have been told that Priscilla had been told. As you know grief is a roller coaster experience, you were there with the confusion of what was happening, she wanted to reach out to someone outside the family and Linda was on top of her list.
Your right the more Elvis the better ❤❤❤glad to hear you’re daddy’s doing better ❤❤❤MR.TUNER !!!! Congratulations on your 5 yrs being sober, im on my to being sober I have one child that still talks to me and one that doesn’t even text me back he doesn’t know the whole story and how much better I’m doing because he won’t talk to me so I gave it to god I had to, don’t mean to vent but it’s not easy the lord is amazing he’s working even when we don’t know it!!!TCB⚡️I love the song Just Pretend,& it’s midnight & how great thou art
I enjoy this show so much watch just about all shows when able. Was born in December 1956 about 75 miles from New Orleans he was there 3 months before I was born. I was raised on The Great Elvis. What a great life to have had the chance to experience it all. I may never make it to Graceland but great experiences watching everything from RUclips. Please don’t stop the shows from airing appreciate the show and keep on always living Elvis!
I think the saddest songs for me, was Unchained , melody, crying in the chapel, and how great thou Art I think Lisa felt close to Linda, because Linda was the person that spent a lot of time with her dad when she was there. They became close I love the stories you tell Office, what I love more is how thankful and grateful you are that you had them how special it was for you and how exceptional Elvis was. They are fantastic memories
Hey Danny Iam so glad to hear you are 5 years sober. I love your show and probably seen every episode of MMK since the beginning.. I have been 12 years sober. You are so right it was not easy. I can see all the love and respect y'all had for Elvis and your family. You obviously came from an awesome family so down to earth that really knew how to have fun. I remember when My Way came out from the 1977 Elvis In Concert album. That song gave me the chills and was all over the radio after he passed away. That song was a Frank Sinatra song but Elvis made it his...Sending love to you and your family..God bless
A world tour would have be awesome !!!I love y’all ❤️❤️❤️congrats on 5 years 👏👏👏Danny what year did Elvis have the meditation Garden Put in ??my favorite song by Elvis is Unchanged Melody ❤️
My song if I had to pick one is "Long black Limousine" gets me every time oh & another is " I'm so lonesome I could cry" I just fall to pieces listening to both(&more) of his songs..anyway glad to hear more of your memories about Elvis & Lisa Marie, love from here in the UK take care y'all.❤😊xx
hey Danny & Teresa I’m an Elvis fan from when I was little I’m 61 now ,I love your videos I hear the real Elvis stories, not the stupid gossip from people who never even met him , good to know you’re dads doing good , I know from listening to him and your mom talk they loved Elvis and he loved them , they were with him till the very end , it bugs me when people say the people who were around Elvis because of his fame , he wasn’t famous when you’re dad moved to Memphis with him for a better life, him and Elvis never forgot their roots thanks for the videos. Fr Canada 🇨🇦
Hi Danny and Teresa, Congratulations Mr. Danny on 5 years of sobriety! I am so happy to hear Mr. Billy is feeling better. The saddest song for me is: The green green grass of home, it's a tear jerker.😢 Mr. Danny the sunglasses were really funny 😊 ❤❤❤ Grace and Alain from Canada
"Solitaire" and "Danny Boy" are the two songs that get to me the most. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️QUESTION ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ ⚡️ Did you ever watch football games with Elvis? If so, what was he like? I read that he wore his helmet when watching games. Is that true?
I would love to know who yours and Teresas favorite Elvis Tribute Artists are!! Mine are Shawn Klush, Cody Slaughter, Bill Cherry and Jimmy Holmes. I am so grateful they give us all a chance to go to a venue to hear our favorite Elvis songs and be with other Elvis fans and have a good time. I wasnt lucky enough to see Elvis in person but so glad we have Tribute Artist. I know its not like the real thing but grateful for them to give Tribute to Elvis!!
All of you, you are lucky to be able to listen to beloved ELVIS sing, I can't, it hurts me too much, and tears / I sometimes try to listen to him but at the first sound of his voice I stop everything!!!!!! Too difficult: I know I'm depriving myself, but that's the way it is!! ELVIS God's Gift! //
Hey Danny, way to go on your sobriety brother! January 12th 2017 was when I took my last drink. For me it was a huge struggle! Glad I made the change, God bless you and Mrs. Teresa. Hope y'all are doing well? PLEASE thank your brother, for his service to the community? See y'all in the next video... Keep on living Elvis!
Lisa actually didn't call Linda, although Linda likes to say that she did. What happened was that Sam called Linda, and after they talked he put Lisa on the phone. Sam himself said this in an interview more than once. Lisa did not run to the phone to call Linda.
@pattynuzzello9035 Patty she adored the lifestyle it afforded her sad isn't it. She clung on in the hope she'd be the next Mrs P , was never gonna happen.
"How Great Thou Art" gets to me, also. Another one is "Are You Lonesome Tonight". I'm happy to hear your daddy is better, Danny 🙏❤️ I started laughing as soon as I saw you wearing sunglasses. I figured you were going to say Teresa tuned you. You better be good, Danny, or she will 😂 She needs a tuning stick 😂😂😂
Danny congratulates on 5 years sober! Would love for you to talk more about it. It will help others with any addicting behavior or something one wants to stop.EP would be proud of you.❤
Priscilla wasn't home. Lisa called her mom. Priscilla was just getting home when she got the call from Joe Esposito. If Linda is saying that she was the first one Lisa called she is mistaken.
Thank you so much Danny for answering my question. That means so much to me. I didn't mean to bring back sad memories. Love you and our girl Theresa! You guys are awesome!! Love you guys so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 0:58
I’ve been a follower for some time and I have to say I can see how much Danny misses Lisa when he mentions her. I can imagine the stories they could have told together. Do you ever think about writing a book about your childhood memories with Lisa and living at Graceland?
I'm so happy to hear Billy's on the mend. We've really missed him and Jo!❤❤ Love you and Theresa too,! Danielle has been doing a fantastic job of holding down the fort for them! I don't know what we'd do without her! It was a pleasure seeing Laney too!❤ We are watching her grow up before our eyes! I can't believe how she's turned from s little girl into a young lady in just a few years! It's been a privilege watching her grow up. That really makes us feel a part of your family that we love and care about!❤❤❤ Big hugs to uou both from Sandi in SC
QUESTION: How did Graceland or basically anywhere Elvis was staying handle his trash/trash cans? People would be rummaging throughout it! Thank you! TCB ⚡️
First and foremost … I love what you all share with us the history and wonderful memories of Elvis. He died when I was 13. 1977. I had always read over the years that a cousin was paid to take the pic of Elvis in his coffin. Read recently that it was actually Billy. I love you all. Have you all caught wind of this talk?? Please don’t slam me.
Hi Danny and Teresa! Love to see you guys popping up and glad to hear your daddy’s improving I know how knee pain is! Prayers for all Smith family and the Elvis community in need! Danielle is doing great keeping up with EFM! As always love these questions and answers from both your channels and Danielle had priceless pictures! Never really saw any pictures of Danny and or Danielle in their younger days so cute!!! So thanks to Danielle for great selection of photos! Wishing you and Teresa a great week/weekend! Take care!TCB⚡️🙏🌞👍
American Trilogy and Can’t help falling in Love with You! Always remind me of Elvis immediately but there are so many all the ones you named are on my list!👍💕🎹🎼🎤
Enjoy the video love you and miss Teresa when you see Mr Billy please give him a big hug from me question how many bedrooms and bathrooms does Graceland have I've often wondered God bless you guys❤❤❤
Hi Danny and Teresa, Thank you for answering my question I was REALLY SURPRISED I'm going to tell everyone in my WhatsApp group now and send them the video so they can see for themselves. I'm really pleased to hear that Billy is doing well Thank you again and take care Dinshaw Pocha
I heard Lisa & Priscilla were opposites in an interview by Elvis's friend, the guy who Lisa was hanging onto @ the awards just b4 she died. She loved her Mom Priscilla but not close enough where she didn't even tell her that she married Michael.
Congratulations on your sobriety. Praise the LORD !
I saw Lisa & snapped a quick selfie with her on January 8, 2023. When I attended her celebration of life, it broke my heart 💔 to hear their duet of “Where No One Stands Alone” being played over the speaker system. I knew she was no longer standing alone, but was supported by the men who loved her the most - Elvis & Ben.
Excellent analysis! 👍🏻
Linda was also kind & loving. Lisa could sense it & would be drawn to her.
Where did you get that information? I’ve heard that rumor. So your saying Linda is just like Priscilla and the other women he was with?
Hi Danny and Teresa and Everyone love your Channel Thank you for the video. I feel Elvis should have done a lot more T.V . Specials I feel that would have made him feel better about his Career. God Bless Much Love Everyone Nurse Jean
@pattynuzzello9035 Patty I totally agree with every word you've said 👏 👏 👏 👏
The songs that get me choked up are "American Trilogy" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" get me teary eyed all the time.
The sadist song is I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry. I sing it now and it makes me cry. God bless y'all ✝️🛐
BJ Thomas had a great cut on that song also.
My favorite song is Elvis and Lisa sing No one Stands Alone. This gets me every time! 💔💔💔
It hasn’t always been the saddest for me, but recently “Memories” is at the top of the list. It was played in the video for my Papa’s funeral in November. He definitely would have been a buddy for Elvis. They had the same spirit. I could list a dozen similarities.

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary Danny! Thank you to Teresa and your family for supporting Danny! The saddest song Elvis sings that makes me cry is "I'm Leaving" with a close 2nd to "Unchained Melody" .
Life is happier and easier to contend with difficult times when you're sober. Those party days got old for me when I was in my mid 40s. I'm 62 now. 🙏💪
Congratulations on your 5th year of sobriety .I know it's not easy, though it makes it a little easier when you have someone special to do it for .keep up the great videos.
One day at a time.... god bless
I think the saddest song is “Dont Cry Daddy” The video of of Elvis and Lisa together with Lisa singing gets me right in the feels!
Song to make me cry? Hurt.😢
And...Lights Out by Lisa Marie. That's a heavy one for me. 😢
One of the saddest songs for me is Funny How Time Slips Away, especially because it's Elvis singing it.
Can't have too much Elvis! Love hom forever!
I find "It's Midnight" to be a sad song!
"Solitaire" and "Danny Boy" are the two songs that get to me the most.
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️QUESTION ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ ⚡️
Did you ever watch football games with Elvis? If so, what was he like? I read that he wore his helmet when watching games. Is that true?
Elvis's version of "American Trilogy" is epic.❤
Love Coming Down chokes me, those words are strong coming from Elvis
Great great clip !!
My saddest Elvis songs: Just Pretend, If I Can Dream, Unchained Melody, My Way
Just pretend is one of my favorites.
@@trudiedunaway7223 I lost my husband of 22 years to COVID and Just Pretend is what I do to have my love near.
And Elvis makes you feel like he’s singing to you personally🥰❤️

Glad ur daddy is getting better ❤
Lisa knew Linda loved him like her mother should have it’s sad. Miss her a lot ❤
💯
Lisa said herself that both her mum and dad loved each other very much.
Congrats Danny on your sobriety. I have been sober 4.5 years and know it can be tough but is worth it.
For Ol' Times Sake and Loving Arms always get me as far as sad Elvis songs go...
Congratulations Danny!🎉 One of my very favorite sad songs is Kentucky Rain. Great video and questions!
Wow! Alot of Elvis songs 🎵 can get you crying. Memories for sure.
Thanks Danny and Theresa😊
All of you, you are lucky to be able to listen to beloved ELVIS sing, I can't, it hurts me too much, and tears / I sometimes try to listen to him but at the first sound of his voice I stop everything!!!!!! Too difficult: I know I'm depriving myself, but that's the way it is!! ELVIS God's Gift! //
Hey Danny, way to go on your sobriety brother! January 12th 2017 was when I took
my last drink. For me it was a huge struggle! Glad I made the change, God bless you
and Mrs. Teresa. Hope y'all are doing well? PLEASE thank your brother, for his service
to the community? See y'all in the next video... Keep on living Elvis!
Memories is the saddest one to me. It was also my mom’s favorite Elvis song.
Loved this weeks questions
Hernando’s Hideaway, had Dale Watson performing there quite a bit, during the first ever lockdown around the world.
Mine is the live version of How Great Thou Art…love ❤ Love that song!!!
When i visit graceland i went to tupelo visit his home and church alot of places elvis went thanks Danny and Teresa
Lisa actually didn't call Linda, although Linda likes to say that she did. What happened was that Sam called Linda, and after they talked he put Lisa on the phone. Sam himself said this in an interview more than once. Lisa did not run to the phone to call Linda.
Exactly true Katgirl, Linda likes to perpetuate her version of the story though 😔
@pattynuzzello9035 Patty she adored the lifestyle it afforded her sad isn't it.
She clung on in the hope she'd be the next Mrs P , was never gonna happen.
I forgot to say so happy Your Daddy is getting better. God Bless Much Love Nurse Jean
"How Great Thou Art" gets to me, also. Another one is "Are You Lonesome Tonight".
I'm happy to hear your daddy is better, Danny 🙏❤️
I started laughing as soon as I saw you wearing sunglasses. I figured you were going to say Teresa tuned you. You better be good, Danny, or she will 😂 She needs a tuning stick 😂😂😂
Thank you so much❤ love to you all
Danny congratulates on 5 years sober!
So glad to hear your daddy is improving. Love you all! You all make my day and lift my spirits! Thank you all for sharing with us!
You were born in to it But it's been a lifetime ago. You had a very unique situation. Glad you are enjoying yourself in sharing your memories✌️
Love listening to all the questions and answers! Always so interesting!! ❤️❤️❤️
QUESTION: How did Graceland or basically anywhere Elvis was staying handle his trash/trash cans? People would be rummaging throughout it! Thank you! TCB ⚡️
Great as always Thank You..............
Congratulations Danny , keep up the good work, you should be proud, like you said it's not easy.
Congrats Danny 😊
WE ALWAYS LIVE (LOVE) ELVIS ❣️❣️
My favorite and saddest is Just Pretend. His voice is so angelic
I love the songs Danny mentioned , Always on my Mind always has touched me. Willie Nelson is quoted as saying he likes EP version better than his own.
Mama liked the roses!😢
Question: still wondering if Danny ever got to play football with Elvis. Love u two. ❤❤
Nice to see you guys. Haven’t seen you in a while. I smiled real big when I turned my iPad on you popped up. Enjoy your videos I do.😊
Hi Danny and Teresa, Thank you for answering my question I was REALLY SURPRISED I'm going to tell everyone in my WhatsApp group now and send them the video so they can see for themselves. I'm really pleased to hear that Billy is doing well Thank you again and take care Dinshaw Pocha
The song that touches me the most is Pieces of my life
That’s awesome that you are sober. ♥️
Great video Danny I truly appreciate your honesty.. much love always ❤️
I heard Lisa & Priscilla were opposites in an interview by Elvis's friend, the guy who Lisa was hanging onto @ the awards just b4 she died. She loved her Mom Priscilla but not close enough where she didn't even tell her that she married Michael.
