Ashoka was produced solely by SRK I think. He setup a separate entity for low budget movies. Dreamz Unlimited was SRK, Aziz Mirza, and Juhi Chawla. After Chalte Chalte they broke up since Juhi was not taken as a heroine there, leading to animosity. Red Cillies then was only established by SRK.

11:38 cat eyed people = aishwarya rai 😂 n 12:00 curly hair = vamp..Pervin Dastur, the vamp in Maine pyar kiya was told to get that curly hair for her character. So she sat in the salon, next to me, getting her hair done and speaking to my aunt and the salon owner (my aunt’s friend) about it…even as a young girl, I remember this so distinctly

just a small note, before judging the intention behind directorial choices on subtle nudges to things, remember that Aziz Mirza was a very socially aware filmmaker, look at his body of work going back to Nukkad and Circus days, he just chose a more accessible way to say things than his brother, argument being that "Jo kehna chaahte hain, woh un logo tak pohoche jin ko woh dekhne aur sunne aur sochne ki zarurat hai", "Raju ban gaya gentleman" and "Yess Boss" had clear critiques of post 80s corporate obsession.

Trivia: Jawan is loosely inspired on Main Azaad hoon starring Amitabh.
You can closely notice the reason of SRK’s named Azad in the movie.
And the famous stadium scene from Main Azaad hoon is copied in Jawan’s SRK where he gave speech in camera.
Both the scene have some similar dialogues and context.
Main Azaad hoon was also a political movie where Amitabh urge people to stand and cast votes wisely.
In jawan Srk urge people to caste vote …
    Just google the song
“itne baju itne sir gin le dushman dhyaan se”

I vaguely remember what happened. Khamba agreed to everything that his ex was accusing him of but it was a one time thing and after some time that girl was nowhere to be found. Also Khamba was one of the only me too accused who actually apologized for his bad behaviour towards his ex but after that he got married and was happily married the last time I checked. Even Tanmay Rohan Ashish deserted him due to the dismantling of AIB which acc to me is such a bad friend move. I could be wrong so if anyone wants to correct me or knows more than me feel free to comment under this.
However, I feel Khamba really suffered enough and now let's be done with all the things of the past. If Suhel Seth and Sajid Khan are roaming around freely and making money and shit, I think we should cut Khamba a lot of slack.
Great podcast by the way. Phir bhi Dil was such a fun watch. Even though it was typically tacky as most of the 90s films were I loved this film only because of Juhi's character which was such an empowered female role that was surprising to see in the 90s. She played an empowered woman in Ishq too.

These guys have biases towards SRK. Its not about liking or disliking the film but its just about discussing and keeping the actor and his filmography in news. This is nowadays a subtle way of PR gimmick. Instead of discussing stupendous movie like Lakshya or even KNPH they are discussing this shit. It was neither ahead of its time nor it dished out properly the message. It released and tanked badly due to overacting of SRK.

Urjitha is the kind of feminist who gets her ideas from Tiktok and Instagram Reels and doesn't understand real feminism. She doesn't have the ability to look at people objectively for their qualities as actors and will always make a counter argument in their favour which doesn't even make sense just because the conversation is about a woman. The bias is so blatantly noticeable and gets unbearable to watch overtime. Maybe she is just young and doesn't understand the world any better but it comes off as really irritating and will drive away audience from your show.
