Good reaction. One of my favourite songs, my favourite performance of the song and quite possibly Su-metal's finest vocal performance to date (but that is hard to say since she is always so incredible).
See my comment under your 'Starlight' reaction for the possible explanation of it being just Su, Moa and the guitar on stage. The Avenger (third girl dancing - I think it was Kano that night) was there for this concert, just not for this song ... I think this was a very personal and special performance for them. It was the first time they had ever played this song live too.
Moa can play guitar a bit, but she doesn't practice as much as she should and I believe she said she was too nervous to play it live on the night (she probably pre-recorded her part and they played that instead).

This song always brings me to tears. RIP Mikio 😭
Moa had the guitar in this performance in tribute to Kami band guitarist Mikio, who had been giving her lessons, but tragically died falling from an observation platform while stargazing. This came not long after Yui left too. I can only imagine how tough it was on the girls to lose those closest to you for half your life 😢

This is from the period when they only had two full members (Su, lead singer and dance, and Moa, scream and dance). And a rotating cast of non-singing dancers filling the 3rd spot in the choreography.
Shine is normally performed with 3, but on this occasion, which was the day that Moa turned 20, (and became a full adult under Japanese law) they have the guitar almost acting as the 3rd member of the group.
Yes, Moa can play the guitar, but had admitted that she doesn't practice enough. It's not a normal part of the performance of this song. Mikio, the guitarist who died had been helping her (I think?).
This performance was about 18 months after Mikios death, and the withdrawal of Yui from the group, a very hard time for the two of them. And you can easily read into this performance that they are re-affirming that they can get through this together.

Shine great song but this is my favourite version of it on Legend M which was Moa's Birthday show . So much emotion displayed in the vocals and courography. Although nothing offical and the presence of a symbolic guiter could be Mikos or not this could be performed as a duo as a tribute to Mikio their guitarists who died and the guitarists spotlighted between them hope it was not a coincidence . I hope this is so as it would be fitting tribute ❤🤘🏼🦊
