Sliced by a Spiny Lobster!

- On this adventure, Coyote, Christina, Mario and Trent are on-location in the Florida Keys free diving for spiny lobsters! But, a smack of moon jellyfish make for some treacherous diving conditions. Nobody likes a jellyfish sting to the face, or getting sliced up by spiny lobsters!
Always follow local regulations for the harvesting of spiny lobsters.

Nope
Becarful man

Hello
No never but close
Christina brings great energy to the channel, these past couple videos with her have been fun to watch
Hi
Not sure if it's the addition of Christina to the team, but the energy and playfulness in this episode is very endearing and entertaining.
I was looking for a comment like this😂 I agree
The Mario and Christina hair part was funny ahah
I'd love to see Christina more often, I think her personality clashes well with the rest of the crew, you guys work really well together and I think she'd be a welcome addition to the brave wilderness family
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate how much pain this man has been through just to give us content 👏👏
I could never do what he does but he probably makes more money then all of us doing it

How is he not dead sill when he's getting bit eaten and sliced in this video
@@Meta_Knight_ when u next fightin Kerby? And if u r can I have a ticket for the front row seat?
Dude this guys pain tolerance is insane, and he does have fear, but it takes fear to have courage and be brave
@Yulds stop spamming
@@brontsmoth671 every person reacts differently to venom and poison.
Even justin schmit the godfather of sting pain index said if you get stung and bitten and you feel pain just " laid down and scream".
Those people just react differently ,i mean just dont try it incase anyone have an allergic reaction and went into anaphylactic shock.
you really don't feel anything when it's that sharp
he plays up the pain instead of focusing on fighting it, but his courage is impressive regardless
Gonna finish the end for u there, “…be brave, stay wild…” ur welcome ;)
Christina needs to appear on the show more often.
They know exactly what they're doing...

Man, lobsters are way faster than I thought they were. Homie was scootin'. Loved Christina too. She has a great energy.
I like how he just gets hit by the lobster when he’s talking about eating it
Christina "Wild Woman" was pretty cool. Hope to see more of her in the future. 😎
The SpongeBob impression killed me that was really good!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Moon jellyfish stings dont hurt
As a child I was playing with them and you dont even feel the sting (if they even sting)
Hi coyote, im a big fan of your channel. I sincerely appreciate your mission to help people better understand animals.Keep the good work up!
what like bigfoot?
and maybe that bigfoot skull was really really real
i bet
@Yulds 🅥 no problem eitd: I subbed
I think Christina is a great addition to the team.
I feel like I seen him grab a moon jelly and say it doesn't sting he was just holding it bare hands
I think brave wilderness should be a TV show 😃
What a wonderful team now! I hope you keep her on the show!
Imagine you sleeping and the lobster goes to your house with an army😂😂😂😂😂😂
Much respect to the camera man. He’s the real hero
We need more of Christina
I can’t imagine how much you’ve grown your channel coyote it’s really impressive how well you are doing❤.
bro coyote never fails to impress me
I worked buying maine lobster from boats. Picking crates with no gloves was my preferred method, with that being said, getting horned sucks(chances of being hit with claws is low because they’re banded, but doesn’t feel good lol) but the absolute worst is when they freshly shed their shell and you pick them up and they close their tail on your fingers(in water they swim backwards away from predators using their tail It’s like being cut by razors and the amount of itch and possible swelling sucks so bad If you can’t clean it and yes they swim, I also pounded them and have seen 2-4 lb lobsters swim up 20-30 feet to the surface of the pound despite what people say. Have also seen 28 lb lobsters that got sent in from Canada. Held its claws over my shoulders and the tail came past my knees, they aren’t legal to catch here as we have an oversized/undersized measure here in the US but it was incredible to see a hundred year old or more lobster. Sad that they usually die if not sold or eaten. Larger lobsters 4lb+ tend to die quicker in holding tanks from what I noticed, I can only assume because of the lack of pressure on their bodies once pulled from the depths, also I wonder if fish and crustaceans can get the bends like we do as these huge lobsters are found in 100 fathom(approx 6 feet per fathom/arms length) or deeper.
Didn't expect the lobster to be that quick
Same, such weird movement too
Love this type of episode! Keep it up.
A to pay respect for this man who has been doing this only for content
10years from now I would still be looking forward into rewatching this millions if times bravo😁👍
And omg the dancing cat! 😂
Jellyfish are my favorite animal, so even though it was unfortunate that they got in the way of their mission, I was thrilled.
Christina has such good energy she’s awesome!
Them being swarmed by jellyfish gives me Finding Nemo vibes
Christina was a godsend ❤

I thought you said you couldn’t feel a moon jelly sting…
I work with moon jellies at an aquarium and can confirm that you can't feel their stings. I've had my entire arm in their tank with tens of jellies bumping into me and it didn't even irritate my skin
I always love brave wilderness they give us alot of knowledge about animals.

I'm just so happy Coyote is back. I missed him 😁😁😁

Was looking for this comment 😆 I too enjoyed those views.
How come when you put an moon jellyfish on your arm, you didn’t get stung in the other video
Dude got stung by so many different animals and yet a simple moon jelly made him react like that 🤣
Christina needs to be on camera more!😝
I thought Moon Jellys were harmless

Hi coyote, I really love your content! Keep it up!
I always look forward to lobstering when we go we typically take a big boat down and mothership. Then we have a tender to get around, and we average over 100 lobster per trip. It’s probably my favorite thing to do. And yes it is challenging👊🤙🏼
Hi im a very big fan, i watch your vids 7 years ago until now and im glad your still alive right now i dont want you getting too much hurt but nice and great content

I love people who hate hurting animals especially reptiles
I'm surprised you guys are getting stung, are the moon jellies different where you are? We have tons of Aurelia aurita here in the Baltic Sea (I'm from Sweden) during summer and I've never felt myself get stung by them, can touch them without feeling a thing. Or is it that some people are more sensitive to the sting than others?
You're right, they don't hurt. I volunteer at an aquarium in the US and feed/handle moon jellies with my bare hands all the time.
The moon jelly's sting is mild and most people have only a slight reaction to it if anything at all.
he is absolutely playing it up for the camera, per usual.
What’s absurd is he has previously filmed an entire video on how harmless this particular species was. Simply search “jellyfish” in his videos to find it.
Go watch his video jellyfish challenge- he is giving contradicting information all over his videos
I practically grew up with this channel
Still one of my favorite channels in all of RUclips
Coyote! Would love to see you do some videos on stinging caterpillars! Not saying you have to get stung but would like to see some content on them! I got stung by a saddleback caterpillar and man it hurt!! But didn’t last as long as a bee sting! Great videos!!!!

I literally just came from the jellyfish challenge video where you said moon jellies didn't sting, but in this video you're screaming out in pain? I'm so confused
I looked it up, coz I was also confused by some sources saying they don't sting and others saying that they do. Here's an interesting paragraph I found from an article by Anna Klompen talking about the sting of moon jellies of the genus Aurelia:
But as you can imagine, these animals would not have become so common in aquaria or labs if they were truly dangerous. In fact, I could only find two reports of these jellies causing major health issues. One is a case report in 1988 by Burnett et al of a 30-year old marine biologist experiencing local skin irrational and pain for over a week after being stung by “an unusually large” A. aurita. The second case is also a sting by a “quite large” A. aurita on a 25 year old man diving in Florida, which cleared up 8 days after treatment with medication (Simmons et al 2014). While generally considered harmless, there have been incidences of massive jellyfish blooms around the globe that have caused health problems simply out of shear numbers, including reports from stings in the Caribbean, Spain and Israel (Mariottini and Pane 2010). Just this year over 2,000 people were reportedly stung by Moon jellies in Florida, though there were no major injuries. Even though a single sting from one individual is relatively weak, a larger group of jellies (called a bloom or a smack), could pack a more powerful toxin punch. Most of the time these animals only cause mild itchiness, but moon jellyfish stings appear to be highly variable, and we have no idea why that variability occurs.
Man Is So Chill About Getting His Pinkey Finger Almost Cut Off
I've been keeping a large female Florida Spiny as a pet for two years now, and every time I touch her I leave my blood in her tank. Their feet are also super-pointy, as they stab their food with their feet and bring it to their mouths. All of their spikes are angled forward because when threatened, they orient straight front - to - the threat's center of mass. Those large antennae are actually whips and are used for self defense, being barbed on the inside along their length, the barbs angled out at 45 degrees. Their eyes - large and on stalks - are protected by large horns that curl above and forward of their eyes. These horns are spotted black, the only black they have other than their eyes...clearly to camouflage their eyes from attacking / biting fish. These creatures are structurally amazing. When I am attending to other pets in another nearby tank and she gets jealous and wants my attention, she whips her antennae and splashes water on me, then climbs the front of the tank and waits to be hand fed. Nuts.
The facial expression coyote has on his face at 0:28 explains how bad it would hurt 😂
