The officers need to be charged and convicted of assault, battery, child endangerment and fired from their jobs. They made it clear they don’t care about her or the baby. They could have simply let her sister get the baby. She knew this and that’s one of the reasons why she didn’t want them touching her baby.
All of those officers need to be FIRED on the spot, and they need to be entered into a nationwide data base so they are never allowed to return to law enforcement.

I would've let her sister take the baby or allowed her to take the car seat out of the trunk and let her know that im trying to work with her. She was a new mom and a lot of black/ brown people have a fear of the police. So it's always best to try and calm a person because if they had of shown a bit of compassion she may have allowed then to hold the baby.

In my town an officer stopped a lady and discovered a child not in a car seat. The cop called the police headquarters and had them give the mother a car seat because the mother could not afford a car seat at the time. Usually, when it takes more than a week to release video footage, it has nothing to do with an investigation, merely it's a stall tactic. The old addage: out of sight, out of mind applys to this particular case. Think about it, if the sheriff's were in the right, the video would have been released a few days later. There is absolutely no justification to warrant this kind of response. Where was/is the public outcry. Three week old child "dangling." She was screaming frantically in fear while holding her baby and obeying. She was pleading with them and they could think of harming her in secret. You can clearly hear a man's voice and or breathing pattern while she was being punched . She and the baby could have died. The cop called the police headquarters and had them give the mother a car seat because the mother could not afford a car seat at the time. Usually, when it takes more than a week to release video footage, it has nothing to do with an investigation, merely it's a stall tactic. The old addage: out of sight, out of mind applys to this particular case. Think about it, if the sheriff's were in the right, the video would have been released a few days later. There is absolutely no justification to warrant this kind of response. Where was/is the public outcry. Three week old child "dangling." She then got upset bc she was being arrested so instead of owning her neglect she then resists arrest with her baby in her hands!!!! But the cops are wrong by upholding the law??? Ohhh wait it’s bc she’s black… and the cops are white??? This is ridiculous and embarrassing as a black woman!!! Just because I’m black doesn’t mean I get to break the law and resist arrest and then sue them for discrimination!!! This is why all the crimes have gone up bc we don’t want cops to enforce the law but when crap gets out of hand then let’s call the national guard!! This is what yall wanted!!!
