Well, actually, she was born in Canada and raised in South Africa. Elon is a Canadian citizen because of his mother, South African citizen becsuse he was born and raised there. He came to the US on a student visa from Canada in the early 1990s. When his student visa expired, he was an illegal immigrant for a few years before becoming a US citizen in the early 2000s. The only reason he became a US citizen was because he needed investors to start a business and potential investors would not invest because he was not a citizen. Musk has way too many US government contracts, government contracts with Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Musk has an agenda to control Trump and the US government. Tesla has fully self driven cars that are currently being investigated because of the hundreds of accidents those cars were involved in. He wants to get rid of US regulations so in my opinion, to keep producing these unsafe Teslas. Some of his other businesses are also being investigated. In addition, Musk and his SpaceX is facing federal reviews for violations of security rules. Trump has an agenda too. One of which he needs Elon's money. Trump wants to be the only one in the spotlight. So, this "marriage" between Trump and Musk may not last. If you notice, JD Vance hasn't been seen or heard from since the election.

My granddaughter is multiracial and rarely goes out alone because there is more opportunity for people to behave rudely to her than when I am with her. If Trump wants to know why America doesn't get immigrants from, for example, Sweden, let me explain: in Sweden we have a happy and healthy society, with a high standard of living, good social support structure, universal health care, free higher education and are always in the top 3 or 4 happiest countries in the world (maybe because the disparity between rich and poor is so much smaller than in the US)...and BTW, 10% of our population are immigrants. 🙂
Many Americans are still delulu and think their country is "the greatest in the world" even though they have people dying because insulin is too expensive or because insurance companies denied to pay for their healthcare. My youngest is 18. Have three children including my stepdaughter. Believe that’s a low estimate to be honest. When they were young there was a period of time all I ate was whatever was leftover on their plates. I’d be willing to bet just feeding and clothing each of them costs at least 300,000 each over 18 years. This doesn’t include sports, school supplies, college and god forbid they get ill.
And by the way things are going it’s going to increase. Stagnant wages, expensive education, student loans, cost of housing is gonna make harder for young adults to go out on their own.

I'm from South Africa and this is how apartheid classification worked: 1- white people (superior race). 2. Asians ( 2nd class citizens) some were honorary whites. 3. Brown and Asian indians ( 3rd class citizens) 4. Black people ( low class). This was when the apartheid machine was running at full steam. It worked so well that some people would have a superior or inferiority complex depending on which class you belonged to. I think the Musks want something like that for America 🤔

I recently had to go to a Hospital ER in North Texas. The Registrar asked me after explaining that there was a new Law in Texas that required the Hospital to ask the immigration status of People at the time of patient registration. This reinforces the points that Roland is speaking to related to the National attention being given to the ethnicity profile of the total American population.
Significant Demographic shifts are rapidly moving America in the direction of becoming a Majority / Minority country. In a Democratic context, there is no predominant segment of the population that can have absolute control of society and government using the power of voting as the tool to insure that control. This clearly explains why White Americans at this time are so ready and eager to replace Democracy with Fascism. Fascism provides for the absolute control of society and government by a minority segment of the population via an autocratic / totalitarian framework.

It's not just to maintain whiteness. That probably is one motivating factor for Elon, but having many kids keeps you in proverty. As a 62 year old white woman, I was telling my children when Trump rode down that escalator in 2015, and immediately started complaining about migrants, that the root of all of this was fear from the racist elements of our white population that they were no longer going to be the majority in the United States. They saw the statistics. They knew this was coming. And they are terrified about having to share power. They are going to do everything they can to avoid that future. I also say that if we actually cared about supporting people to have more children, we could enact policies that honestly support families, rather than try to force women to have more children. As broken as our immigration system is, and it definitely needs major reforms, it has been the immigrants that have kept the United States economy stronger than many other countries in recent years.
I told my kids the same. This bs about the browning of American drives me crazy. Tell me why the white people, mainly men, are so worried about becoming the minority? Because they are scared they will be treated the way they currently treat black people. Smfh
