That bridge used to be a car bridge. They closed them down for safety. There was one where the Chenango and Susquehanna come together that was shut down around 1960. That bridge was washed out in the flooding that happened about 10 years ago.

The waterfall you filmed is a dam, I don't remember its initial purpose. There was public swimming area upstream from it 70 or 80 years ago.
