I like that they get a tattoo can represents an event and/or personal accomplishment. I suffered a lot of abuse as a child and as I was tattooed I exchanged the pain of that for the pain I suffered as a child, and when my skin healed I had something beautiful to replace the bad memories with.

A lot of people prefer the smaller crane but I personally thought it was too dinky, I much prefer the bigger crane.

I thought he would get one big crane made if a bunch, not necessarily 1000, smaller ones.
i liked the placement of the small one better but the big one is definitely a better size and looks nicer overall

It's really funny to think how different people can be with tattoos? Like some people have great meaning and they think about how it's there FOREVERRRRR but then there are others who get a croc tattooed all of a sudden and they are just living life

I always knew I wanted tattoos. I decided I was going to get a mountain thing and my artist ran with the idea. I got a huge tattoo for my first one, it covers like half of my stomach. I decided I wanted it in less than a week and i just went for it. 😂😂 I love how some people can’t decide and I was just like “cool, I like it. Lets do it”
Yeah I'm getting a cover up for a small stick and poke I did years ago and just told the artist to draw something that fits the area and it botanical. Lmao. getting the tattoo in a week :) After this tattoo I already have a few more planned, some anime related, others just silly bc why not.
The real commitment is the maintenance to keep it clean and stuff after you get a tattoo. Spending a month washing it over and over. I adore my tattoo. I would never get rid of it it means the world to me

This is probably one of my favorite videos on this channel so far. I really want to get tattoos myself, I've been trying for so long to come up with a design that I think I can really cherish and stick to, on top of, well, having to wait out or come up with ideas that work around my acne problems.
I actually loved their tattoos! They have meanings and they're beautiful!

I was so disappointed that there was no cat
New video idea: instead of all these videos where people get fake tattoos, and try to pass them off as real ones, people get real tattoos, and have their family member come in and rate the "fake tattoo." Have them do a visual test (does it look good), and a number of other tests to see if it'll come off when wiped, put in water etc. Show their reactions when they realize it's actually not fake and isn't coming off :)
My mom thought I was kidding about my first tattoo (understandable since I'm still afraid of shots and piercings because of the long needles) and did what all mom's do- licked her thumb and straight up tried to wipe it off. We still joke about that two tattoos later haha! Wasn't quite as funny at the time when she was rubbing a fresh wound.

Yeah, there is. Did you just skip 5th grade math?
telling someone you dont like their tattoo is the worst thing u can do ever. people have spent time and money into an artwork that will permanently stay on their skin for every to see (depending on where it is;)) this could cause them to regret what they have done and then try to remove it... laser tattoo removal is pretty expensive and hurts way more than the actual tattoo so the person may even go on to scratching/cutting out pieces of their skin if they realise noone likes it. if they dont let it get to their head then good, but this is just a worst case scenario
I chickened out of getting a tattoo when I was 19, and always regretted it a little. I always thought 'some day, I'm going to do it'. Then, earlier this year, I found out I'm going to be a grandmother, and realised that 'some day' can be any day you want. My back now has a beautiful swirling abstract design.

I love these videos! I have 7 tattoos myself (finished #6 and did #7 two days ago) and I think tattoos are beautiful. They tell stories and show who you are on the outside. Not all of my tattoos have meaning, but most of them are things that helped me become the person I am today. Material objects will come and go but your tattoos are forever.
So sad the other girl didn't get a real one. Hers was my Favorite.
What I love about getting tattoos is the sound of the machine, and the way it hurts it’s a pain like no other, it makes you feel alive when you’re depressed, it gives you some unexplainable type of feeling, it burns but it’s so good. Watching someone else get tattooed just doesn’t cut it.

I wanted to get a tattoo of the word “Stray” by a song I like by a band that has gotten me through a lot since they came out with an album. I was going to get it really big on my shoulder but then I met the guitarist of that band and he wrote “Stray” out for me so now I’m getting it on my forearm significantly smaller. Ideas change.
I like the captionings when they were applying the fake tats. I loved that it explained that the ink develops over time because I was really confused. Hats off to the editor :)

It is actually quite insane, i have a paper crane tattoo as well. We made a 1000 paper cranes for my grandma when she died when i was 5. A huge memory of mine from when i was little.

My mom also died of cancer. She was amazing and I am thankful for the 12 years and 10 months i got to spend with her.

I’m glad they have such meaning in their tattoos. I got my tattoo simply because I was curious about how much it would hurt. I love the design, and I don’t regret getting it, but I wish I had chosen a tattoo that had a story behind it.
