Washing my Tesla Model Y Performance. Don't forget this ONE thing before washing your Tesla.

This a a step by step on the products I used and the things you need to take into consideration when washing your Tesla. Do you have ceramic coating? Paint protection film? None of the above? Each one is treated slightly different so you'll want to make sure you know what you should use.
I don't have a foam cannon so I made my pressure washer work. I am going to get a foam cannon soon, though.

I would just be careful with leaving the microfibers on ground due to you never get the debris out of towel it could scratch the car. I usually throw mines into bucket after wash. Rule of thumb if it ever drops on ground, throw away.

I know there’s a car wash mode if you head into the car wash, but is there a mode if you’re just washing it at home? New Tesla owner here.

I use the same car wash mode to make sure the charge port doesn't open or the windshield wipers start while washing the car!
