    This is my first Samsung Powerbot I have owned. I am impressed with the strong suction and not scattering the debris around with a lack of side brush.

    Nice that it has such a wide brush roll and looks like it did a good job on the beads. Looking forward to seeing how this one does against some of your other robots.

    Hey’ im knew to your channel but i recently bought my parents a Shark IQ self empty because of your review. I had a question about robot vaccums in general, we have husky puppy and she sometimes flicks water out of her dish or sometimes we might accidentally drop a ice cube from the fridge and if we dont realize, it melts on the floor, my question is do you think that these small puddles of water will be harmful to the vacuum? Obviously big puddles of water arent good for them but i was just wondering about small bits of water that might get over looked and sucked up

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 года назад +1

      First of all welcome, the small puddle of water from an ice cube will be fine. Most of these robots are sealed to help prevent dirt from getting into the electronics so a small puddle won’t affect them. Hope the Shark IQ works out for your parents and if you have any additional questions, feel free to ask 👍🏻

      @RobotMasters  4 года назад

      Austin Harris Hmmmm, May have to try to isolate where the noise is coming, take the extractor bar out. Does is still rattle?, Maybe is coming from the vacuum motor, try the different power setting see if the noise goes away. Try to determine where the rattle coming from. From there you may need to dismantle the robot and see if anything became loose.

    HI I got the shark iq 2 weeks ago for my wife for Xmes but its still in the box never opened it and i got her the irobot M6 the same day but after watching you videos I'm thinking about getting the irobot Roomba i7 I'm torn between the two i like that once the i7 is done it wii tell the m6 to mop and i like that the irobot will map in 3to5 runs not 30 runs like the shark iq. but just don't know if it worth the $700 i payed $350 for the iq but just want to know what you think if i would be better off getting the i7 down the road. let me know what you think i should do? Thanks love the vides keep them coming!

      @RobotMasters  4 года назад

      Hello is it possible you can tell me a little about your floor plan, how big is it, do you have a lot furniture and obstacles and lastly are you planning on using the robot on multiple levels? The Shark can only do one level. But if your floor plan simple you might be able to be happy with the Shark IQ. The price is really good for all the features you get.

    i have this and not having enough light will make its navigation useless,it will keeping going in that same spot etc and then when you turn on a light it will start acting right,for the price tag it was listed at ,there is no excuse to have this robot to only be reliable if it has enough light,glad i got it used for 80$ ,and my neato is right back where this robot was.not impressed at all with this Samsung,actually was shockedm looks sophisticated ,but easily useless due to the need of light.sad.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 года назад

      Thanks for the info, most Camera based robot vacuums need some sort of light for them to navigate. For now, Gyro based and Lidar based robots are the only type of navigation that can effectively work in complete darkness. There a few new robots like the Lucy from Trifo that has a camera that can work in complete darkness.
