E.g. as a general rule in East London, white people have different accents to black people, who also are different to Asians. Cockney isn't the only accent in East London. MLE accent also changes depending on what part of London you're from. But yes, this guys accent isn't necessarily East London, as the MLE accent has spread across London (and many other parts of England) in the last few decades. E.g. as a general rule in East London, white people have different accents to black people, who also are different to Asians. Cockney isn't the only accent in East London. MLE accent also changes depending on what part of London you're from. But yes, this guys accent isn't necessarily East London, as the MLE accent has spread across London (and many other parts of England) in the last few decades.
Edit: I think listening to it back, I think you're right in that this likely isn't East London. I think it might be more North London MLE, but hard to say.
