Allegations Victims/Patient Organ were transplanted in Foreign National and this LiverDoc crying about lack of Organs & system procdure for Indians. What a Hypocrite they are. Read Para from Newspaper below "
Abin was admitted to Baselios Hospital after suffering a head injury in a bike accident on November 29, 2009. He was shifted to Lakeshore Hospital on December 1, 2009, where he was declared brain dead. His relatives were induced to donate the vital organs of Abin. Later his organs were transplanted to a foreign national. Later Dr Ganapathy came to know about the flaws on the part of the hospital and doctors and he suspected a conspiracy by denying proper treatment and hastily declaring Abin as brain dead.
The brain death was declared by doctors who are not authorised for the purpose.

I feel so blessed to be born in a hindu household and grew up with modern scientific education which have taught me to be receptive to both ancient and modern learnings. I feel sorry for some people who are so biased and eventually lost in their lives in search of what is right and wrong. And meanwhile some make profit out of that dilemma of public. This is the only thing came in my mind while watching this video.

I took Modern medicine treatment for 2 years.. Got No permanent cure.. Kept coming back.. Then my grandmother suggested me to take “ Triphala churnam “ .. My disease disappeared within 6 months and never to come back.. I am still consuming Triphala everyday… it’s been 4 years.. Got no side effects instead got only additional positive effects.. It’s my true life story.. NOW YOU CAN DECIDE.

But uske nazdeek me hi ek paani puri thella tha n beside that there was a public toilet. We were standing there. Some of us went to use that toilet. Few observations based on this alternate medicine doctor:
1.) Label alternate medicine comes from a point of view not an accepted term
2.) Based on his logic, I am assuming he is an atheist. If he is not it’s a contradiction to his logic that something that has been written thousands of years is not relevant anymore
3.) Currently, science believes Ph value of a body needs to be balanced
4.) Traditional medicine(Ayurveda) is preventative because it includes body exercise to what’s in your kitchen to what you ingest as medicine
5.) It’s incorrect to say that western medicine has not killed anyone. All the examples were given for traditional medicine.
6.) Exercising is a modern concept in western medicine
7.) He is wrong that people need to go to gym for exercise
8.) Having lived in US for 30 years, doctors have recently started prescribing some diet as part of treatment. Post delivery, there is still 0 diet prescribed.
9.) Western medicine supresses symptoms, doesn’t cure.
10.) Doctors in India have a unique advantage but they are so brainwashed. Study paid by grapefruit industry has results where people just ate grapefruits until lots of medications were observed not to work
I can go on.. what we need is a healthy balance between what we have discovered now with what we already knew. It’s not apple juice and urine, it’s all good juices coming together.

First of all Its a great podcast! Although, I do not understand why would people turn towards ayurveda for serious illness cure!? From my understanding ayurveda has more to offer as a lifestyle practice than as a serious illness cure. Its meant for preventing a disease to go at serious stages rather than curing a disease that is already at a serious stage. Moreover, I cannot think of a reason of why I would weigh the opinions by a practicing clinician more than any full time medical researcher (preferably holding PhD in biomedical domains) for research in topics out of scope for the practicing clinician. Also, I would like to know who would be the domain experts in meditation/flexibility research and if they would be practicing clinicians at all. We should also consider the fact that there is no incentive for any for profit medical organization to actually spend time, money and efforts to conduct research in general well being lifestyle practicies like yoga, meditation or pranayam, let alone practising clinicians.

Dr Abby, as always spoke with a lot of clarity and logic. Thankful that we have doctors like him. I felt like Ranvir was not acknowledging what Abby was saying - especially around 1:20:00 to 1:40:00. He was not disagreeing but wasn’t even acknowledging with a simple “this makes sense”, and kept saying irritating things like, “we should get an ayurveda practitioner to debate with you”. It’s like as if he couldn’t find anything logical to say back to Abby, and just had to resort to, “oh I am not an expert at disease conversations, and we need someone else to debate”.
Anyone who cares about public health, would care more about what Abby is saying. Ranveer, the enthusiasm you show for pseudoscience, nodding vehemently and applauding them, I wish you had brought in half of that energy to this episode.

Really ??? Are you aware of Moderne Medicines that causes Liver Damage & not just Ashwagandha.
Some Moderne Medicine Drugs that causes Liver Injury was failed to be mentioned by this doctor but Ayurveda was highlighted (this is why I call it Personal bias as they only talk about what suits their Narrative. If he is a top liver Doc then doesn't he knows about these Medicines too ?).
      Amiodarone,
      Anabolic steroids,
      Birth control pills,
      Chlorpromazine,
      Erythromycin,
      Halothane (a type of anesthesia),
      Methyldopa,
      Isoniazid,
      Methotrexate,
      Statins,
      Sulfa drugs,
      Tetracyclines,
      Amoxicillin-clavulanate,
      Some anti-seizure medicines,
      Disulfiram,
      Niacin,
      Azathoaprine,
      Ketoconazole
The liver helps the body break down certain medicines. These include some drugs that you buy over-the-counter or your health care provider prescribes for you. However, the process is slower in some people. This can make you more likely to get liver damage.
Some drugs can cause hepatitis with small doses, even if the liver breakdown system is normal. Large doses of many medicines can damage a normal liver.
Many different drugs can cause drug-induced hepatitis.
Painkillers and fever reducers that contain acetaminophen are a common cause of liver injury, particularly when taken in doses greater than those recommended. People who drink alcohol to excess are more likely to have this problem.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, and naproxen, may also cause drug-induced hepatitis.

I can confirm one of the statements of Dr. Philips regarding the giloy plant being toxic to the liver. In April 2020 (CoVid lockdown), my mother used to give me a hot concoction (kada) made from giloy and turmeric every day to boost immunity against covid. After first week, I was showing signs of jaundice and was vomitting for 2-3 nights after eating anything. I was hospitalised for a week and was diagnosed with hepatitis (can't remember the type). My mother still blames me and my "lifestyle of the young generation" for my illness and the hospital costs. I knew it had something to do with the kada, because i was 21 years old and never faced the issue before. I refused to drink any homemade concoction from then. She still believes it was not the kada, but me "not listening to her". I was also in slight doubt, but still firmly refuse to drink her kada. We have had serious fights on the topic. I may not tell her this, as she might not believe it or may get hurt from the revelation. Let me be the bad guy if it helps. This podcast has brought me some closure on the topic, so thank you.

Is there any proof, that what you were consuming is actually giloy? How do you identify it?? And what is quantity of giloy were you consuming? What is the ratio of water and the drug for making a kadha, do you know? Do you have gone through prakruti screening for consuming it?
Everyone knows that self medication from modern medicine is dangerous, after any small diseases like cold and fever, we just go to the general practitioners and ask them what drugs needed to get cured.. but as ayurved comes in, we just self medicate us, whatever herbal, whatever your dada, nana, mama says is good for all and whatever shown to you by influencers and celebrity is right, consume every damn shit!!!
Why people are not aware that self medication of any pathy that exists or have existed or will exist in future, will require proper examination of the patient and then giving them the treatment! Self medication never works!!!

Just like the liver doctor is promoting evidence-based practices, you too cannot blame giloy without proof. Any tests were done to proove that giloy caused the problem? Giloy is an ayurvedic medicine and just like modern medicine it is supposed to be taken under supervison of ayurvedic doctor. You would not take an antibiotic without doctors prescription then why would you take ayurvedic medicine without vidya's prescription and then blame it?

However, shortly after the vaccination, my younger son developed a high fever and experienced significant swelling at the injection site, which persisted for weeks. Unfortunately, his fever lingered for 15 days, and over time, we noticed delays in his developmental milestones. Eventually, he was diagnosed with autism. Despite our concerns, neither the hospital nor the pharmaceutical company took responsibility for these adverse effects, simply attributing them to chance. Since then, we have struggled to find help for our son, and his suffering continues unabated.

How did you verify that the person was cured due to the ayurvedic medicine and it was not hepatitis A? Modern medicine must undergo randomised controlled trials before they are approved for sale. But in case of ayurvedic medicine there is no such trials, so we do not have any insight on whether they work or not which is not safe.

He claimed and circulated that one of the Ayurvedic medicines I took had severely high amounts of heavy metals. My family have been believers of Ayurveda for long, when I saw this I got alarmed and decided to get the medicine from the same manufacturer with the same batch number tested! A proper random sampling was done and it was tested by 3 internationally accredited laboratory and the results were shocking. In all the 3 reports it said that there were no heavy metals, they were below the limit of quantification. That is when i understood this was all an agenda / propaganda backed by the most powerful lobby (Pharma lobby) in the world!

The assertion that Ayurveda only focuses on symptomatic treatment is inaccurate. Before making such claims, it's recommended to delve into Ayurvedic texts under the guidance of an Ayurveda expert to gain a comprehensive understanding of the science and its approach to addressing diseases at their root causes.

This individual seems to be more focused on generating publicity rather than genuine advocacy. His speech, as showcased in this video, serve only to mislead a generation. He said at 45: 00 that there is no organised organ transplant system in India. I think this gap was well utilized by the doctors of lakeshore hospital Cochin, including his father. The fact that the Honourable Highcourt of Kerala had sent Summons to the doctors of Lakeshore hospital, where he works , seriously questions the integrity.
Moreover, his behavior extends to social media, where he manipulate events for his narrative. A prime example is the misleading Instagram post with Kerala Health Minister Mrs. Veena George, falsely implying an award acceptance.
Criticism of Ayurveda should be approached with an understanding of its principles and practices, rather than dismissive judgments. It's crucial to foster open-minded discussions and consider diverse perspectives on healthcare. It's disheartening to see someone who took the Hippocratic Oath display such disregard for truth and other medical disciplines. Whom will he say is the father of surgery who says so much against Ayurveda? Would he say it's someone else?
His critique of Ayurveda lacks nuance and understanding of its principles. Ayurveda, a recognized treatment system in India and globally, isn't merely pseudoscience as he claims. And if Ayurveda treatment is so harmful then why Ayurveda is promoted in India and all over the world? Ayurveda is a system of treatment recognized by specific regulatory systems in India itself.
WHO Traditional Medicine Center has come into existence in India by seeing its potential all over the world. If Ayurveda is just pseudoscience as he says, are these people stupid? And I must also say that he indirectly points that the government is promoting something that harms the people.
Furthermore, the dismissal of specific Ayurvedic remedies like Ashwagandha showcases his ignorance. Ayurveda considers holistic therapeutic principles, which he fails to grasp.
Previously, he said about Giloy induced liver damage in his videos . I would like to encourage viewers to read the article on the hepatoprotective effect of Giloy in the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology and form their own understanding.
@beerbiceps It's disappointing that your channel , instead of fostering informed discussions, wastes time by spreading misinformation. In conclusion, it's crucial to critically examine such individuals who prioritize sensationalism over genuine dialogue, especially when it comes to matters as important as healthcare.

My Dad has recently passed away. Cause 'liver Cancer'. Doctors say it is hard to detect in the early stages because there are symptoms that are very common for any kind of disease. This is why we need doctors to see the root cause from a lot of tests. My parents moved out of Delhi to Karnataka for some reason. He always avoided any health-related issues to get tested and treated by medicine because they considered it unnecessary and a waste of money. He went to Ayur-Veda for his symptoms, but this is when he did not know the root cause was a developing cancer in his liver. So, Ayur-Ved maybe in a way was harming my dad's liver even more in this case. Sir is right, The Ayur-Ved persons are just treating symptoms, not the cause. Do not go for just any medicine not just ayurveda for anything until you know the root cause through tests. If someone gives medicine without knowing your history of health, It might turn out to be harmful.

Ayurveda is there for centuries and there are a lot of studies done on that. There is no point of waiting another 2 decades. Principle of ayurveda is wrong, that is the problem. If they want to do real experiments, then they have to come out of those principles and ancient books.

Ayurvedas concept of Dosas is totally abstract
But some of the meds r known to work (1) evidence because of years of use (2) on studies those ayurveda meds were shown to have similar mechanism of action as "allopathic medicine"
Bottom line - atleast some research n studies is going on in the field of ayurveda
Whereas HOMEOPATHY has absolutely no scientific basis or any RnD

your last line contradicts your first one - what is it, "if they want to do real experiments" or "there are a lot of studies done on that"?

@@AnirudhHu For any drug to be approved in scientific medicine , there are Pre clinical trials, clinical trials and multiple phases of tests. Those phases are what I meant by real experiments. Ayurveda medicine doesn't have to go through them and it is based on ancient knowledge.

Just think, why he did'nt talk about side effects of steriods and antibiotics and impact of alchohol on liver..
Then you will realise the vested interest of pharma and alchohol company. Why he was speaking against Himalaya's most successful medicine for liver health which is the main rival for allopathic pharma compamies.

      "
"Even before he was declared brain dead, doctors for organ transplantation visited him and a liver function test was conducted."

He's trying to get views by bringing controversial people and asking them the same questions they were in controversy for. Who cares if millions are given misinformation.
