Such a Great heavy power-full Sound they had still back then in 2014...as they did already 20 years earlier, when I saw Crowbar first time Live here in F-land - IF you don´t believe me, check this their Full Set live "inside club" recording from 1994, WOWs! ;-) :-) ruclips.net/video/BvqTmw1qVec/видео.html
Saw Crowbar for the first time in 1994 in Santa Monica, CA opening for Pantera. Only song I knew was All I Had I Gave. They were so good. Been a fan ever since.
PLAYING THIS AND VERY IMPRESSED. MY 75 YEAR OLD MUM RECKONS THIS SHOW IS WORTHY OF AT LEAST 7 OUT OF 10, MAYBE 8. SHE SAYS SHE STILL LIKES DEVIN TOWNSEND, RUSH, NEVERMORE, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS AND JINJER MORE. BUT THIS PRETTY GOOD, I'M SO GODDAMN PROUD! ROCK ON MUM!
Keeping it real still I see now. Unbelievable now your managed to keep the drive alive after ALL these years. For that, I'm there for ya. True Metal. Unbelievable really. I remember back sooo many years ago listening to COWBAR in the WOOD MILL OF NEW ORLEANS EAST OF CHIEF HWY. I'M ready for them again...
Crowbar is my overall favorite band been listening since 1993. However Marshall amps dont do their sound justice. The signature Crowbar sound is Randall Solid state amps, i notice any time they play overseas they use Marshalls must be Randalls are hard to find in Europe.
***** I used to play around in club bands during the late 80's early 90's. I had one of those. Great amp, and reliable, Very Loud amp. It fell out of my pickup one night after a gig, because I didn't l latch my tailgate properly. It banged it up good, grill cloth torn, knobs broken. But when I plugged it in, no problem
+Josh Pelton Only Kirk is playing Marshall. The other guitar amp is Peavy and bass is Ampeg. And what you hear live is always more awesome than you'll hear on a recording
***** Mine was an old RG80. I should have never gotten rid of it, but I fell on hard times after a major motorcycle accident a few years ago Funny you mention Mesa, I had a SOB boogie (look it up) It was pretty much the same as a Mark 1 except it had only 2 6L6s running at 65 watts, so the tubes ran hotter than a 100 watt with 4 tubes. I needed to retube quite a bit. And yes--I played through my Randall more often
+Jake Abassi Yeah, I work doing backline at festivals and whilst festivals certainly DON'T MAKE bands use the house gear, it's a lot easier for everyone involved if they do.
Crowbar kickin' ass too this day,i heard Obediance through Suffering in 2003 after hearing the Down Nola album & realized that Kirk was involved i got into it. I still love the band i got all their albums, got all the Down,Corrosion,Pantera,Necrophagia,Arson Anthem,Eyehategod,Graveyard Rodeo,Superjoint Ritual,Christ Inversion,Viking Crown.Southern Isolation etc.
So this is Crowbar. I remember seeing thier T-shirt on a Pantera video but never got around to listening to them. I had no idea they would have those nice sludgy doom parts reminds me of bad motor finger by sound garden but with different vocals.
Of course been a fan of that album since it's release in early 90s.But Crowbar they are not have u seen Crowbar play live?I have seen them 7 or 8 times over the past 15 years amazing.None heavier
i will always love this man, this man from the mines of moria. i've seen them umpteen times, i'm sad i did not attend them at the shelter, detroit in '15. i need to renew my pledge of fealty to the dwarf king of all things heavy.
Back in the day when im still drinking alcohol...i used to jammed Crowbar songs while drinking at the backyard of my friend house... 3 in the morning suddenly a cops came to us and told us to stop the music....one of my friend show his middle fingers to the cops....damn...we spent one night at the cell.....
don't get it...small club amp arrangement...where the hell is the multiple cabs and heads and why the hell is the bass cab away from the drummer? I mean I get they didn't like him but wtf?
Planets Collide...still one of the most beautiful heavy songs I've ever heard.
Yeah and then they went at made the lasting dose too
Thank you Beavis and Butthead for introducing me to Crowbar in '93 \m/ \m/
shit, with me the same, damn long ago... greetings from germany
Hell yeah, remember that very well 🤘
Same here, from Brazil...FCK!
The guitars sound great, the drums sound great, sounds like I'm listening to one of their albums.
Incredible sound quality, The production team that do Bloodstock need to take note from this.

One of the best bands on this planet. None heavier.
Saw Crowbar for the first time in 1994 in Santa Monica, CA opening for Pantera. Only song I knew was All I Had I Gave. They were so good. Been a fan ever since.
Wow, that's not how I remember Thin Lizzy at all
😂
The power of the riff compels me. 🤘🤘
I cant tell you how much I love this band.
If I could be born again, I'd wish to be born as the Beard of Doom. Been a fan since 1993. I'll be a fan til I die.

One of the best openers. The drums come out like cannons

The amazing CROWBAR!!!
Please, come to Brazil!!!
Pedro Leonardo Figueiró Silva Met them in Ukraine and gave me a drumstick and 2 picks.
the only reason i try to avoid listening to crowbar is because when i hear them i want to either break something or get into a fight.
I have a serious problem, I cannot turn it louder than loud.
opening with Conquer is totally sick. one of my personal favorite Crowbar songs.....so heavy!
Broken glass!!!!!
sometimes you have the feeling the crowd is listening to something else...like during Planets Collide :)
I've never seen such aggressive moshing during planets collide
Kingdom of Sorrow Sleeping Beast lol
the only thing I do while listening to this song is lying on the floor in the lake of my tears
Fuck yeah! Too numb to mosh.
Cool to see that they play a relatively fast paced set. Works nicely on an open field stage.
Niiice to see & hear them playin´ them old tracks from mid 90´s too - oh man oh boy did I listen Crowbar a LOT (already) back then Wooah! :-)
Had the pleasure of seeing them two days ago

festivals make bands use house rigs....in europe they always play festivals thats why you see em using marshalls
+Jake Abassi Yeah, I work doing backline at festivals and whilst festivals certainly DON'T MAKE bands use the house gear, it's a lot easier for everyone involved if they do.
Crowbar are the masters of the crunch. The slow and perfect crunchy crunch with the perfect amount of. crunch.

Goes like this Sabbath then Crowbar.
I've paid my price!!
Drummer sporting a CFH tat. Fuck yeah!
They toured with Pantera in the 90s..... They were good friends
Drummer Tommy Buckley who also is the drummer for Soilent Green. Another band I need to listen to more. Huge in the New Orleans scene.
GOAT - heaviest GRINDCORE band ever!!
Took them until "planets collide" to get a proper mosh going! 101 proof: ODD FELLOWS REST is their best album!
Billy Joel has really let himself go
That cymbal on the left is like a fucking shot gun blast.
Sleep they are heavy and I love em for it but Crowbar is heaviest in all the land...
Groove.

I feel like my beard has grown 5 in after watching this video
Is it me or does the Riff Lord sound like Sam Kinison when he's singing?
