  • How to make Ramos Gin Fizz cocktail with Erik Lorincz
The Birdy 3-piece shaker is a masterpiece of Japanese craftsmanship and leading technology.
Birdy uses a 10-step process to precisely polish the inside of the shaker.
The Birdy shaker is finely polished to an ideal smoothness to within 0.2 microns.
Conventional shakers are machine polished to reduce jagged edges, but not to maximize efficiency or the production of air bubbles.
This ideal finish reduces stress on ice and helps you create cocktails that are more thoroughly blended and highly aerated.

I saw this video and I ordered this shaker. I've been using a boston shaker but I like the technique you used, kinda like japanese bartenders. thanks!

He is influenced by japanese bartenders in many ways. I think he said it one of his interviews.

Would be very curious to try this. A ton of soda went in that glass. Maybe it’s just a very light version of the drink

Should I spend maybe about 12 minutes to shake it.
I’m not very sure about that.
Because I saw many people who shake it so long

The original recipe calls for 12 minutes of shaking, most people shake until the ice dilutes.

It would still be foamy without the soda from the egg whites. The soda gives it the fizz
