I am planning to buy bg e22 grip for canon eos r, but hvae a question. I have canon 7d with grip but thre is a space between the camera and grip which shows that its is not westger sealed as the moisture and dust can go through camera battery compartment, any one can guide me wether it is the case with canon eos r grip or not? Thanks in advance
Just bought a 2nd hand EOS 600D The attendent Battery grip has no tray for 2 X LP-E8 only 6 X AA. I'm guessing the time from the latter will be NO match for the former. Is it worth me buying a whole new grip for the sake of the missing tray?

Is it possible to charge 2 batteries via regular usb-c cable or Canon special charger is needed? And how to change focus points using grip? It looks like too far away :D
Yeah, the video shows a grip. Basically any Canon Grip and how to mount it... Would be so nice to see at least some unique features like USB-C, off-camera charging, etc. But it seems like this is the first Canon Grip that the author had seen in his life. :) And IG pics are usually square so the grip does nothing here really.
This grip comes with a built-in usb c charger so you will not need Canon's special charger to charge both batteries; it's the reason why it's a bit heavier that other grips. Since the usb c port in the body is not powered, a simple work around is to take your MacBook Pro charger and plug it into the port if you do not have the grip.
The grip includes the canon usb c charger in the box. Plug the charger into a socket and use the attached usb c cable to plug into the port on the grip.
Haven’t tried it yet but I’m assuming could use my MacBook usb c charger just as you can use to charge the R. I think you just need a PD (Power Delivery) charger.
@@miker6053 canon-eos-m50-battery-grip.bujacze.com/ Find them on Facebook, place your order and wait a few weeks. I found it to be very worth it. It's a little pricey, but what's the alternative? Carrying a handful of batteries (840mah). $25ea? Or buy a $85 grip, that uses a 2x 2600- 3000mah battery that cost $2-6each. I have 10. That I use to power my crane 2 and the m50.
one battery is for veekend in my camera, and i can change it in five seconds. I don't like vertical foto cause by my opinion you stole yourself for perspektive. Vertical video is the greatest stupidity.
Here are the most important time stamps:
- 4 reasons why: 00:55 - 03:17
- Mounting the battery grip: 03:18 - 05:50
Hope you enjoy!

nice video, I didnt realised you can store pieces removed from camera inside grip.
Thanks! Was a huge surprise to me too 😄
Excellent video...very easy to follow👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks a lot!
How do you map the focusing points on the screen for shooting vertical?
I think you can do that with your left thumb

Is it still weather sealed with the grip on?
Yep!

Will this work on my canon EOS SL3 CAMERA
Nopey
Does it have a magnesium build like the 5DIV’s BG-E20?
Yep 🙌
Metin Senler I immediately ordered it via Amazon. It should be in tomorrow. :)
Let me know how you like it
Metin Senler I definitely will. I just got a 100-400L IS ii and the power draw on the EOS R is significant. This grip will definitely help. :)
@@aregal 😮Oh it definitely will!
Yeah ur video quality is over exposed plus u need to start color grading ur vids
So true! Thanks for pointing out.
Looks horrible imo
Maybe he likes it that way? People have different styles. Doing the “normal” makes you regular. Be different.
@@YelloNation yeah but it looks bad
I kinda liked the Hi-Key look on the video

Would this battery grip work for an M50 or is the fit wrong?
This one fits only the Canon EOS R. As far as I know Canon doesn‘t offer a battery grip for the M50 but there are some 3rd party offers around.
I have a grip for the m50. It's nice! Uses 2 18650 batteries via a dummy battery in the m50. Last 6hrs or more. Shooting video all day.
Wesley Aguilar whats the name of the eos m50 grip you have

@@miker6053 just be sure to get a good battery charger for those types of batteries. I use the nitecore 4 slot charger.
is it compatible for cannon rp?
Nope.
i think you can only charge the new batteries in the grip, old ones do not charge though they do work
Oh that could be true! Can't confirm though since I don't have any old ones around.
does it come with the extra battery
Nope
Nice
Thanks!
Thanks
My pleasure!
you didn't speak about the synchro-flash
👍🏽
nowadays engineers are so stupid that they make a battery grip like the bg-e22 so big that it looks so dummy on a small mirrorless canon R ... omg
That‘s true but two batteries take a lot of space man. And you need a good grip with this weight. 🙌
Ich triggered AF wili s'erschtmal sali zäme uf youtube ghör🤣 hwsch scho uf R5 gwechsled oder rock dini R immerna?
R rockt immmmmmerno 🚀🚀🚀🚀
That grip is so overpriced! $600 cdn plus taxes!
Damn, that's a rip off.. you can get it for AUD$300 in Australia
Currently $199 on canon Canada site! Jump on it quick!
Can everyone please stop doing the Peter McKinnon "What's up!" intros? It's corny as fuck
It's such a poor design, it doesn't look like it was made for that camera. LOL. It's too wide and textured in the wrong places.

I respect but don’t agree your opinion on vertical videos.
