It can also be disabled easily, if in case you want to.
Just replace the Numeric value with "disable" and type it in the ladb with the same method I explained.
Example -
cmd game downscale disable com.netease.newspike

@@adlwon1197 There is only two things that are preventing you from installing it.
1. Find "install from unknown source" in Mobile settings and turn it on. This option if turned off, prevent smartphones from installing APKS other than playstore.
2. Your apk when downloading might have got corrupted because of unstable internet connection. There is negligible chances of this happening but if this is the case then re-downloading the apk will solve it.

By following my instructions in the video, you are doing nothing to the phone itself but only to the game. Also the method I showed is nothing but an ANDROID feature called "Game Mode API" which google started implementation from Android version 11 but as of Now only Samsung devices are allowed to do this. This feature is already present in your android device but other than samsung no other mobile manufacturers have permissions from Google to enable it in their devices. It would not revoke your warranty or anything. It is 100% safe. If you search on youtube or google, you can see that SAMSUNG's game booster applications have a option to lower the quality of the game. This is the same feature.

(Do not try anything other than what I showed you in the video. I did research for almost 1 month before even trying any of this.)

Nice👌broski. Also I also have watched and tried many methods from God knows how many shameless click-baiters but nothing worked . So I had to research on my own and then only this seemed to work, so thought to share it with everybody.
It’s a good decade when you upload(so it wasn’t just me that was noticing the lag and when the shutter island map came out)
😅It just took a large amount of time and effort to research this method. That's why fewer upload (Yeah almost every device started lagging in shutter island, and it is justified, taking into account the number of people that were jumping in the close proximity to each other in the map)

For anyone who is getting error "cmd can't find : game" .
Type this instead of above code :
device_config put game_overlay com.netease.newspike mode=2,downscaleFactor=0.5
And then after you execute above one type this:
cmd game mode performance com.netease.newspike
Restart the game again.
If you want to disable the code type this in the ladb:
cmd game mode standard com.netease.newspike
To clear things up, you can replace "0.5" with "0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9" right? But how do you disable it/set the game resolution to default?

If you have 1080p and want to have 720p display, you can put 0.6667 for 720p instead of 0.5 which is 540p of 1080p

@tami4991 Yes as wireless debugging pairing code with change when you switch to ladb app without splitscreen and that will not let you pair with ladb.
@Aedral No actually ,that number 0.5 is not 540p but 50% of the initial image quality, similarly 0.9 would be 90% of the original quality. So if you put 0.6667 then it would show you 66.67% of the original image quality.

I mean, 50% of 1080 are 540 right? so basically, if you put 0.5 which means the image quality will look like 540p on a 1080p screen resolution. that's why I said 0.6667 because if you multiply the 1080 into 0.6667, you will get 720.036 which makes your 1080p looks like 720p. it's downscaling the image quality from 1080p into 720p

You do not have to use pc, those tutorials will use PC but they will tell you which setting to turn off or on in your phone. You just have to follow those

I think Samsung has intentionally forced removed that tweaks from the Android so as to use it for higher end model. If that is the case then we can not do anything broski.

There is some setting in your device that is not preventing you from using Adb , so search on RUclips with your device name with Ladb not working.

@@virusgaming5109It could work if you had pc but as you dont have it,It won't work. Now as to why it won't work. This process uses a setup which uses ADB(Android debugging bridge), which is used by app developers to make changes to the apps. Originally it was designed by Google for it to be used through ADB in pc by connecting the phone to it with USB debugging option but in later years google introduced Wireless debugging through which the same thing could be done without physically connecting the phone with a USB cable and could be used in some apps like LADB in phone itself. Now the problem is as Android 11 has become quite old with the arrival of Android 14, google has removed the wireless debugging from some models.
So in all in all, it won't work. Sorry couldn't help you broski.
Also, I would suggest you to install a custom ROM in your device as it has become old, also with custom ROMs you will get latest android and you would not have to do any of these methods in first place as customs ROMs are mostly highly optimised for the devices. I myself use Crdroid custom on some of my devices and it runs flawlessly and very minimal to none down drops in games.

@@hakergamer8825 I might not make a video on it cause there are many videos related to it on youtube already (not entirely similar). First you need to search on youtube "How to use ADB" , then after you have successfully connected your phone with Pc by following any of those videos. Then you can simply type codes that I have given in this video directly in the Cmd shell that will be opened after following that video. Remember to use "adb shell" before every command, Like this:
adb shell cmd downscale game 0.5 com.netease.newspike

There is a term for that thing. It is called rubber band effect. It mostly happens when your internet connection is very unstable. So try to fix your internet and it should solve the problem.

I done it with an app called "adb otg"(it is available in the playstore.) first I installed the app in the 2nd device and connected the phones using charging cable and an otg (there will be a sample picture in the "adb otg" app of the connection) after connecting I ran the command you provided and that's it done. (also make sure that the USB debugging option is enabled on the device which u play the game and if you have a otg option in the setting on the 2nd device enable it,if you don't have then nevermind.)I hope you understood❤

Yeah definitely, but I would suggest to keep that apps as they are very light and also their code is open source and are developed by highly trusted developers some from github. So they have very negligible chance of having malicious code.

It is not possible to use LADB without Wifi. It will be needed only for few minutes, so you can take hotspot from your parent's or sibling's phone too.

@@taizuofficial8258 brother if nothing helped, I would suggest you to install the custom ROM on your device. Only that can make your device lag free, if nothing worked. I too installed custom ROM on one of my device and it works even better than the one I m using both are same model phones BTW.

Process is same for Samsung too. Also you may need to remove the game from samsung game booster, if it is enabled for the game.
