  • Jurassic World: The Exhibition has come to San Diego! We board a ferry and head to Isla Nubar where we encounter a life-size dinosaurs like a Brachiosaurus, explore Hammonds Lab, train with Blue the Raptor, watch an Indominus Rex feeding, and come face to face with a Tyrannosaurus Rex!! We also meet some cute baby Dinos along the way. Come along on this Jurassic Adventure! I wish Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando had some of these gigantic dinosaurs!

Nice, realistic dinosaur suits ... and the animatronics used in the larger dinos are quite impressive! However, the imagined magic is for the kids. Personally speaking, the 'magic' for me would be to see how these things are created and operated! They are the best, most realistic, robotic dinosaurs I've ever seen!

WOW! THIS LOOKS AMAZING! Kitra's face on the indominus rex was a look of shock and can't believe this! I think it's the 1st Time EVER I have seen her stuck for words and amazed at something PLUS i think Peter was a bit Jealous as the indominus rex got a way more massive piece of steak than he ever gets in the parks 🤣😉 (tbh it was pretty badass! And it looks so much better than the universal ride/experience..not that I'm saying that's bad as it isn't! .. I just wish they would incorporate Elements of this exhibition into universal studios to go with the rides and raptor experience they already have .. I know space is limited to do that at the Hollywood site BUT they could do it if they got rid of the studio store down there (or relocated it as OBV its a revenue source) and TBH mummy the ride as that is getting old now (just my opinion!) and they haven't done another film in that franchise for a few yrs so it is technically ripe for a revamp ) But this brings everything up to the next level animatronics and interaction-wise! (they should SO HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS AT UNIVERSAL!) so so glad you both vlogged it as I very much doubt it will ever come to the U.K in that form! thanks, guys for posting this and letting all your fans from outside the U.S.A see this amazing exhibition! 😉😘❤❤ I must admit I liked the original Jurassic park film but wasn't too keen on all the Sequels to the original BUT when they rebooted it with Jurassic world I have seen every single one so far and loved them! (i even have the lego ps4 Jurassic world games and the star wars lego ones! ..mind you I'm a bit of a kid and have never grown out of lego! brings back memories as a kid) ..these days it's so EXPENSIVE to buy lego sets that tie in with a film franchise, etc it's turned into an adult thing now, it's the same with Hornby train sets and Scalextric race tracks here in the U.K ! who would have thought the toys of our youth would now be so expensive to buy now!

    Magic breaker/spoiler:
They really should make a T-Rex experience similar to the Raptor experiences, but she's on a very large track, and pre-programmed. She'd definitely have to remain inside. I feel like they could hide the tracks with some greenery, but I'm not sure how high the supports on her legs go, or maybe the feet in motion just look silly, and that's why there's a fence in this display.

Forgot to mention, Universal actually did look into making a ride with that Gyrosphere. It turned out that as of right now it was just a little too difficult to do and for it to do everything they needed to do and hold enough people in it. Universal in Beijing recently opened a new Jurassic ride. It’s absolutely amazing! It originally was supposed to be that particular vehicle but there were several really amazing features like where a dinosaurs looks like it’s chasing you that could not be done if they decided to stay with that type of vehicle.

@@OrdinaryAdventures The Dallas one I believe was identical to the San Diego exhibition. The Chicago one was fairly different, in terms of the layout. The Indominus didn't have its own section, it was sort of in a larger space with a few herbivores (I believe a stegosaurus or triceratops was there), more like a museum with moving dinosaurs. The T-Rex was similar except you didn't get as close and it interacted with a Jeep. There was no "raptors being held in those muzzles" section. No baby dinosaur puppets/animatronics except the newborn parasaurolophuses in the lab. So, the new layout is better in every way, I think!
