Very clear memories of seeing the movie. My little brother and cousin and I were with our mums. It was the first movie we saw in the newly opened Odeon in town. I remember the boys being scared and having to swap seats with them so they could sit with their mummies....I still tease them about it all these years later 😂

A few things that leads me to believe the *Stunt Show* thing you saw was being shot for commercial. 1.) It was shot in front of a crowd in The Plaza 2.) The lady stunt person had a shirt that read: *STUNTS* on the back of it 3.) The Second Unit Guy was okay with people hanging around, like *extras* 4.) Everything was out in the open 5.) Like OA, everyone had their cameras out and rolling

Great Vid! I was actually at Universal hollywood 30 years ago when Jurassic Park came out, i was young but vividly remember it and seeing it on the big screen

I forget if I already told you guys this story, but my 9th grade biology teacher once told us we were going to watch a movie about genetics...and then he popped in Jurassic Park! 😂 And I swear, he'd put it on whenever he didn't feel like teaching. I remember seeing him putting his head down on his desk! I'd usually turn away from the movie myself- it's too scary and gruesome for me. I'm squeamish.
Me and my family saw Jurassic Park at a theatre with a 70MM print and one of the first in town with digital sound. I also saw the special edition Star Wars movies at the same theatre, and at two of them, bumped into the family doctor and one of my college instructors. Sadly, that theatre was torn down long ago.
I remember the first time I watched JP when it opened, I had just finished my Freshman year in college. I watched it at the Cinedome theaters in Sacramento. I had also just finished reading the book and I was not disappointed at all with the movie, even though the ending was different from the book. Great video Peter and Kitra!
