- I mean seriously? What's worse is that I see this treated as fact and it likely will be treated as fact due to other stupid explanations we have gotten in Super that made no sense. Paragus CANT sense Ki and has most of his life been relying on scouter. Super Paragus is even less imposing then Movie 8 Paragus. Why is Frieza acting as though he needs Paragus to explain it to him? I mean Paragus just had his mind blown by Super Saiyan. If Broly power increased 10 times, Frieza would have noted it.

According to Paragus, Saiyans are part of the human species now.
It's due to the Phrase 人間 Being poorly translated. Most subs translate it as "Human", when in Dragonball the phrase usually means "Mortal". What Paragus really said was "He's retaining Oozaru in his Ningen (Mortal) Form", not "Humanoid" form. The dub I guess also mistranslated this and rolled with it.

I think Frieza made a few comments in ToP that he can sense Ki now. I wouldn't be surprised since he is supposed to be a genius and Vegeta learned how to sense Ki right away.

It IS a fact, thats the whole point of the explanation. the BS part is paragus knowing this shit, but i guess its the authors way of telling us, in a BS way.
also, dont assume the multiplier is 10x, this is not the great ape form, its something else. the multiplier is way higher cause we saw in the movie it takes him all the way up to nearly SSB Goku's level
Vegeta said its 10x and really, there is no point in multiplier anymore in Super. They are as strong as they need to be. No more consistency.

Sorry but you can't go against in verse stated levels. Vegeta said it was 10 times therefore it's 10 untill otherwise stated by either the characters or the staff. Regardless Broly's base started wastly stronger and after the initial 10x boost from the form, he's shown adapting and gaining subsequent boosts ontop for whatever reason. We cannot assume these boosts are all from Wrathful.
Besides where others have a set multiplier like 50x super Saiyan, Broly's would be 50x+ with the + standing for his non stable always increasing energy.
Untill official sources say otherwise, this is the best we can explain the Saiyan Enigma that is Broly and his Legendary Power.

You’re making a big deal out of a deduction that made sense for the movie,not sure why Paragus not seeing SSJ before means he should know nothing about the same person he raised and lived with for literal decades.
Also,what’s up with the comment about Super Paragus being “less imposing” being treated as a flaw? Z Paragus wasn’t just very generic but also a coward,there is nothing interesting or good about him just like Z Broly.

I always felt that explanation was a bit iffy. A 10 fold strength increase wouldn't have been nearly enough to close the massive gap between base Broly and SsjG Vegeta. Perhaps it just starts off as a 10 fold boost and then gradually gets much stronger over time?
There are no power scalings in Super so it confused me why they bought power levels back for this movie if they STILL arent going to power scale. Broly has no God Ki if Piccolo can sense him. Heck even scouters can still pick up Broly Ki. Ssj Gogeta is a bit stronger then SSj Wrath Broly.... despite God forms of Vegeta/Goku being stronger then non-God forms of Vegito/Gogeta. It would have made more sense if Gogeta started off as SsjR and then went SSjB when Broly went Legendary.

However it seems that Super has retconned the multiplier for fusion as it seems that base Gogeta is at least on par with SsjB Goku & Vegeta and Ssj Gogeta being far above them. I think Gogeta could have defeated LSSJ Broly using only SsjG but Broly would have still put up quite a fight so Gogeta went straight to SsjB to make it one-sided in his favor.
Its a stupid retcon because you cant forget Gotenks. Or are they going to retcon Trunks/Goten to being super weak now?

Its alright but its waaaay to tame and not only retconned a lot of things, they ruined Saiyan culture and Frieza history. Makes me miss Movie 8.

The violence is greatly toned down, Broly is made out to be pure Saiyan version of Gohan, Saiyan Culture is more friendly towards other rather then them not even cherishing friendships, Frieza is treated as a joke, Goku/Vegeta do not take threat of Earth seriously let alone Broly, none of the other Z-Fighters show up so it feels less impactful, King Vegeta is greatly toned down and isn't vicious king anymore (He even lets a average Saiyan proclaim he is jealous of his baby son Broly and Vegeta doesn't kill him on the spot). I could keep going on.

Because it takes too long to make, I dont have monetization on this channel anymore so that motivation is gone and Super is impossible now to calculate since they do power tiers more than power scaling.

Excuse me but i recall that when Saiyans become giant apes their powers only become 10 times stronger so how does Broly "tapping into it" become just as if not stronger than SSB Goku and Vegeta. Wouldn't it have made more sense that the wrath form is Broly tapping into his Legendary Super Saiyan powers instead of his Oozaru because of that and the fact that Broly has NO TAIL so how does he even do that! This is just another example of Toriyama creating random things on the fly because he hasn't changed his writing style one bit in all these years which as you can see has now become a hassle.

I do not focus on making videos anymore because I make zero money on it now. So it has to be done as a hobby. I do not get any joy in making videos anymore since I dislike Dragonball Super and I am currently very depressed. My brother died in February. So I am trying to heal from my dad and brother. So for now, I am just focused on my current job and doing videos as a hobby if I have something in mind.

I wasnt even talking about Saiyans referring to themselves as humans. But similar lines have been said in Japanese dub. Like Zamasu referring to Saiyans/Earthlings as humans. Any non-god are humans.

You do realize people can make physical observations right? He probably noticed that Broly looked more "primal" I guess is the right word, and he had much greater strength than normal. I don't see anything wrong with this explanation. He was making an observation. Just because he didn't know Super Saiyan truely existed, doesn't mean he doesn't understand Saiyan power. We can't sense power levels but we all saw Broly's power increase in his strength through simple physical observation.
He just buffed up. Its really no different the other times Broly freaked out in front of Paragus and really? Primal? I didnt see anything primal. Because he is screaming more? His fighting style resembles Vegeta a lot. Broly physique only became more noticeable when Broly fought Goku and his hair spiked up like a Super Saiyan.
@@Vegito1089 He didn't just buff up, his hair spiked up, and his eyes changed color (Granted the eyes changing color probably wasn't very noticable from Paragus's view). Go back and watch previous transformations to Great Ape (At least it does to me). The form he took reminds me of right before they change into great ape where they buff up before going hairy and stuff except that Broly didn't turn hairy or get sharp teeth. It seemed more like he got stuck in a mid transformation or something.
Broly hair didn't spike up until he fought Goku. Even then Broly yellow eyes kept changing from yellow to normal. Plenty of fighters get buff and go berserk in Dragonball. That's essentially the entirety of Vegeta's fighting style during Z. There's nothing there that suggests Broly is a "Great Ape in human form". He didnt start fighting like a chimp, he didn't grow any fur, he didn't get taller and I can go on. Broly making battle cries constantly is something everyone in Dragonball does.
Yes, but you also got to remember that great ape has been shown to grant people powerups in the series. Goku got a powerup in the original series from it without going into great ape when he drank the ultra divine water, and it seemed that the first SS3 powerup required the ape power at some point in the transformation. You make it sound like it's a "new" thing, but it's really not. Paragus was comparing Broly's strength increase to that of the great ape. He probably thought Broly's strength increase was very similar to the strength increase the great ape's get. That's probably what gave him the idea. Since he clearly hadn't gone Super Saiyan like Vegeta head earlier, it was obvious to Paragus that the only other source of internal power in a Saiyan that he knew of was the great ape.
