After many years of medical hardship, he did Not give up his art. He has lovely wife and happy home. He finally got time to stop and smell the roses 🌹! He is enjoying calm life with inner peace… leave him alone! He deserves our highest respect. Bunin is Bunin. Nobody can reach what he had reached. Bunin is always Bunin!!!

I collect piano music and I have lost count of how many Chopin Etudes versions I own. Even setting aside the sound this is one of the ugliest. Stiff and metronomic, heavy handed.
Why? You are free to feel whatever you experienced. But it’s wrong to say such a thing to this Maestro!! He is perfect always!! Almost as if you are criticizing Michael Baryshnikov’s Ballet skill!!! 😡Bunin is the king of piano world as Baryshnikov is the king of Ballet world!!! The harshness you thought was the massive power and intensity of his piano performance. His whole body is shaking the entire concert grand piano!!! Of course it’s terrifying sound for your ears if you are very comfortable listening to the community piano teachers’ sound. I am sorry for this comment, but please accept there is a different level of artists in this world.

buninさんが1年近く様々な病気と戦っておられた事、それを乗り越えて昨年演奏を再開された事などを思いつつ「別れ」を聴くと、感無量です。
一型糖尿病を抱えて、体力を要する大曲を舞台で演奏するのはもう難しいかもしれませんが、苦悩を知り、内面をより深められた今のbuninさんの、心に染み入る演奏を又聴かせて頂きたいです。
ブーニンのエチュードが聴けるなんて！最高！

🎉ゲンリッヒ ネイガウスとスタニスラフ ネイガウスと、毎晩聴き比べております。彼らの会話が聞こえるような気がします。
こんなにやさしさに包まれている別れの曲は初めて聴いた。彼の演奏はとても人間味に溢れていると思う。

優しく包まれている感じがお好みなら J J Jun Li BuiさんのOp.10-3の演奏も好みかなと思います。オススメです
とても緻密で繊細で規則正しい音の波なのに、なぜか優しく美しく温かい表現をされるブーニン氏。天才なんだなぁ…と改めて思う。きっと在りし日のショパンはこんな風に弾いていたんじゃないかと想像してしまう。。
ブーニンのエチュード24曲、素敵な演奏ばかりで胸がいっぱいになりました。もはや演奏自体が芸術品です。この尊い感性を愛さずにはいられない。アップしてくださり本当に感謝です。

Technically equal but musically much better than Pollinis registration of the 24.
Bunin even at that young age was the chosen one for Chopin.
I think Pollini is the gold standard, and will not be surpassed for many years.
