Ah man...this game was fun back in the day. I remember getting all panicky when that elusive crystal showed up on screen, it had a unique sound and sparkly animation. You didn't always get it, so when it showed up, it was something special. Looking forward to seeing what you do. Wont that florescent bulb damage the backdrop eventually? Causing the paint to flake? I always wonder if it would be better to put a cold cathode tube there instead.
Florescent bulbs don't get hot. It is the incandescent ones that do. You can grab them when they are on and they will only be slightly warmer than room temperature.
