I have a form of muscular dystrophy who loves and used to visit Disneyland regularly (hoping to visit regularly again starting next year!!). When I was still walking, I always always had to look at the ground so I wouldn't trip on anything. I had noticed all of the pre-2019 ground secrets at Disneyland and California Adventure (...the ground in the entrance to the Animation Academy is also interesting to look at). Now that I use a wheelchair, I am looking forward to looking up when visiting Disneyland 😀 😊.

Ground design at Disneyland is impeccable. Glad imagineers gave patrons such an immersive expereince everywhere you look. Fun watching videos like this that highlight stuff that goes on in my head as I frequented the parks.

One of my favorite things about the Parks are all of the details! And one of those favorite details is the Pacific Warf bridge you had shared once before. Now every time we pass over it we hang out for a bit just to have our own personal little earthquakes. Thanks for what you do, Chris!

One of my favorite “look at the ground” spots is as you walk through the Castle into Fantasyland you see a gold spike in the ground which marked the geographic center of the original park. Thanks for another awesome video!!
NOT the geographic center! You can prove this to yourself on google maps quite easily. BUT, it IS a line of sight marker for the castle's position for main street, so it's visible all the way to the front of the park to the gates! Still a very cool detail, but it's most certainly not the center of the park. Walt wanted to make sure his Weenie (the castle) was visible right away to everyone stepping onto Main street to draw them into the park and entice them in further.

I always liked the ground details in Cars Land. They imagineered cracks and other details into the concrete curbs like they'd been there for a long time

So weird you posted this. I was at the park yesterday and noticed the Kirby Krackle by Guardians and thought, "What is that supposed to be?" And then today you answered my question.
North! This was fantastic Chris, thanks for all the fun Disney content lately! I have noticed this hidden stuff on the ground and it is amazing. I didn't know there was a stage in front of The Golden Horseshoe. The sea shells embedded in the ground in the Little Mermaid attraction is my favorite. These hidden secrets hidden in the ground really immerses you into the attraction. I like the Patreon thing that you always announce in your videos and the price, $3 a month seems very reasonable.
What is my biggest Disney wish? That i get to run into you when I'm at DL in October. You just seem like the coolest. My family will be better off knowing you, for sure.
The first stand at the market place I'm starwarsland offers a scavenger hunt and you have to find all the animal tracks and some creatures. It's pretty cool
