The Minnesota Timberwolves have seemingly shocked the world by knocking off the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 to advance vs the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Western Conference Finals. Now the Wolves had been through a rollercoaster of a series to say the least up to this point. But between everything seen from Minnesota’s offense, defense, their players, etc, what we might be in store for vs the Mavs and going forward in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, it might surprise some.
To start with the Minnesota Timberwolves offense, this is an area some were surprised by most. It’s no secret that Anthony Edwards has stolen the show. But where and when Ant Man has slacked in this postseason, the rest of the Timberwolves have picked it up with players like Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, Jaden McDaniels, Mike Conley, Naz Reid, and more. The coaching of Chris Finch has been questionable at times, but it proved to be key in their Game 7 Timberwolves vs Nuggets win.
Then to talk about the Timberwolves defense, this is where their money is made. The combination of Rudy Gobert & KAT down low, coupled with the wing help in Nickeil Alexander-Walker (NAW), Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, Kyle Anderson, Monte Morris is need be, it’s too much for 99% of this league to handle in terms of two-way versatility. And if the TWolves keep up the pace they’re at right now, you could be looking at a new NBA Champion in 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

What i like to see is there are multiple entire fan bases who are cheering for the wolves to win it all. Stsrting with lakers bulls and a few others. Heck even tons of nugget fans want to see the wolves win it all.
Grizzlies fans too they want to see conley win and jazz fans love rudy

As a longtime MN fan, this is my favorite team of all time. And winning is so much more meaningful when you've been through tough times with a franchise. So for the teams out there who are losing now, remember that
The fact that they have the possible new face of the league, a perennial all star in KAT, the mutiple defensive player of the year and the best 6th man of the NBA and when asked about other teams stars, they can confidently answer "we have Jaden McDaniels" and be proven right is... Scary.
I remember back when people laughed at Ant for saying that about Jaden. They're awfully quiet now!

People don't realize Towns came into the playoffs fresh due to returning from that injury at the end of the regular season so they are fresher than the other remaining teams
Yeah but lets just ignore all the other Timberwolves players and the fact that KAT hadn't played basketball for a month or more and therefor was gonna be rusty. It usually takes some time for players to get back to game speed basketball after coming off an injury
@@SuperThisen Yeah it does take some time to get back from an injury, but KAT returned to full form already. So he's now at full form and rested comparatively to others.
But the main thing is a lot of people underrated MN's offense because of how they were missing KAT of a lot of the regular season. And they didn't take into account how much impact KAT has on offense.
He also played D on Jokic better than anyone else, even better than Gobert the 4 time DPOY

I thought the same. The way Timberwolves beat them in games 1 and 2 I knew Minnesota was the wrong match for the Nuggets.

Lol they only beat nuggets cause everyone choked except Murray and Jokic. Tim daniels didn’t do shut last game vs maves. They just got lucky as hell.

Nuggets had a mistakes jokic and Murray did tried to lift up the game but became tired by 2nd half. Jokic and Murray should be blamed no rest to reserve

You're all hypocrites because you should be talking about the Nuggets and how great we are. We won Game 7. It's just a matter of overruling the calls / no-calls in our favor, which they'll be doing any minute now before the game tonight. We did not lose. I'm getting ready to watch the Nuggets VS Mavs series cuz we will be repeating this year!
