I know they say 3D sucks. But please, PLEASE!!! Do yourself a favor and watch it in IMAX 3D. You will not regret it. I think it was the best 3D movie I have ever seen. The movie looks like it was made for 3D. It was that Amazing in 3D. I watched it in imax 3D. It might be different in regular 3D. But yes it was amazing

Who was in Blade 3??? "Some people are always trying to ice-skate up hill" and then years later one of them became Mr Deadpool. Also in Real Steel 2 who is going to stop Ryan Reynolds turning up as the Kid's new step-dad and geting into a fight with Hugh Jackman. Lol
There's zero chance this film's opening weekend will be anything other than Historic Historic. We are talking about a match-up between Deadpool & Wolverine, and we are talking X-Men in the MCU. This is something we have been waiting for MANY years to see on the big screen.
If you go to the UK and watch a Wrexham match next year I'd veeery highly recommend you try and get tickets to a Premier League match at Anfield (home of Liverpool FC) as well. If you've never been to a football match outside of US/Canada it's 100% guaranteed to be an experience unlike anything you've experienced before. From Wrexham city center to Liverpool city center is about a 50 minute drive by car, or 90-120 minutes by rail via Chester.
Re: Cineworld closing theatres. It wasn't just a 1-2 punch of the pandemic and the strike losing them money, there was also a pretty massive 3rd punch of that fumbled Cineplex buyout and the resulting like 1.2 ( something like that anyway) billion dollar lawsuit that led to their bankruptcy.
I love the borderlands franchise, and there is a stacked cast... I chuckled a few times during the theatrical trailer (DP3 this afternoon =D), but yeah... It does not look good. I must hope that it's an edge of tomorrow, John Carter, blade runner 2049 marketing debacle... Btw, they (AMC) played way more trailers before deadpool - 26 minutes when the typical is about 20... It did mildly upset me... Anyway, I want to hint at some spoilers that are low blows that are super blunt and amazing lol. Can't wait to discuss with others but gonna be respectful. Go in with as little knowledge as possible. Viewers here will get the vast majority of eggs and references ; ) - 9.5/10
I don't really like Fantastic 4, but I also didn't like Iron Man, Captain America, or Guardians of the Galaxy before the MCU. If Marvel does this movie the way the used to do it, Fantastic 4 COULD be what makes me finally like them.
I’ve always loved the idea of F4. It’s my most anticipated mcu movie and has been for the last 2 years. Wouldn’t be surprised if they somehow fumble it tho like they did with the FoX F4 movies.
My D&W domestic opening weekend prediction is $190M. It's good so I think there will be some unanticipated rewatches and word of mouth that may grab some of the general audience back.
Movies like Twisters & Inside Out 2 I see as a little different. Twisters probably had a lot of middle America going and didn't feel the need to buy tickets early. Inside Out 2 was similar but for families who can have a hard time planning in advance. D&W is for Marvel fans and they want to buy early. So I'm sticking with average projections showing like $160-180 million.
Endgame was the end of the Infinity Saga Era. So it was the end but it’s not the end. This could be the start of the new Multiverse Saga if they are able to continue to consistently put out good movies consecutively for the next decade.
saw deadpool 2 days ago already. its so Great. only thing ill say is that its totally an I love you to Fox Maval. and the movie was beautiful. and Cavilverine was awesome

i thought when you are a fan, this is just like phase when they had a not good movie or series and still continue to support MCU. i was entertained still from the past movies. not picky really.

rarely go to 3D but saw it in IMAX 3D, honestly amazing. They really demonstrated care with the visuals. Story not so much, but we hac a good time.
