I needed this as i have not solo camped , always have had a friend along when i have gone to crownland, am worried of the unknow , being a girl is there going to be someone coming around to bother me . I like your suggestion of going to a campsite first. I do have all the gear, and an SUV if it storms or bugs are bad . awesome advice thank you. Ontario

I enjoyed this video. Being too hand on myself is definitely something I battle with. I'm looking forward to the cooler months here in Florida so I can get out and start making some solo camping content myself.

I think so many of us want to try solo camping but it is very intimidating to many of us. especially women. I do like your tips on how to not be hard on yourself or to protect yourself. perhaps one day i will give it a chance.
