Humans in twd have almost always tried to weaponize the walkers. Just not to this extent like Rick's group trapping the saviors by getting a horde and then creating noise which in turn drew them over

TWD deserved to end after season 3 but here we are, a decade later, still being fed "omg humans are the real baddies" slop.

Cure what? A good 80 to 90% of the global population is probably undead or dead. Finding the cure would not protect you from being ripped apart from these things. Forget trying to find the massive amount of weaponry that would be needed for this let alone killing every single walker on the planet.
It looks like they put some kind of poison-like stuff in it and as it coursed throughout it's body the variant became more erratic. But the downside seems to be that it eventually kills the variant by making its head explode
It may be they are trying to create something they can infect the walkers with that kills them all off for good. Makes the brain shut down or be damaged beyond repair.
Would be even cooler if they end up making them more human. They give them the ability to do more human things lol

I'm sure this problem would eventually be solved the more tests they do.

Notice how the Walker began to sound more human as the test progressed. It went from raspy gurgling to coughing and then screaming. Whatever this stuff is, it makes the Zeds livelier and more aggressive.

The walkers are not a regular corpse, somehow the virus makes them stronger, even that they're dead.

Nobody has explained to me yet how something with no pulse, I.E. no blood flow, can have "something course through it's veins". No one has also explained how zombies don't freeze solid in sub freezing temps, again, with no circulatory system working, they would turn to ice cubes. We are fascinated with plots that have more holes than a block of baby Swiss.
In season 9 or 10 during a freezing storm they freeze.
Tbh it wouldve made more sense if the zombie apocalyse in twd was demonic/magical im nature instead of biological.
I can try. So, first of all this is a show so some things are obviously going to be a little out there and that's okay, happens with any media. The virus/strain/spore works by spending time in the brain, it keeps the brain alive. Throughout the series we see that walkers can rot away for a long time but as long the walkers protect their brains, the body is able to sustain itself for a long time. It acts on instinct of hunger, but it's not a natural instinct like animals have. The infection is causing the subject/host to bite others in the attempt to take over/infect a new host, as the brain is being CONTROLLED by the infection.
The zombies do have veins but it's hard to see sometimes with the blood being clogged inside their bodies. Their hearts aren't pumping anymore which you are absolutely right about, as we need the heart to pump the blood in our veins but it's not working. The spore which I like to call it instead of a virus, is controlling the host in inlogical ways that shouldn't be possible
meaning that something else is going on (Go about that later).
TWD fans always say that in the beginning of the series, the ''fresh'' bodies made the zombies quicker, and faster, but this contradicts the entire lore of the series, as later through the episodes, the zombies became slower duo to the decaying process and they were starting to lose limbs and other structural pieces of the body. But then, many seasons later which is many years later in the lore, suddenly the zombies became smarter and the term ''variant'' was used to describe ''special'' zombies, yet these zombies weren't a thing in the beginning of the apocalypse if the outbreak actually occured (retcon), which is another plothole. The zombies can't become smarter if they are decayed with decayed brains and fresh new zombies in the later seasons used to be stupid and very slow too, so they are now suddenly ''evolving'' and ''mutating'' to explain away the variants and make the new shows a lot cooler or interesting.
The zombies can be burned, radiated, frozen, it all happened in the series already, it was never explained how but it's was more shown that you just have to accept that skin or flesh equals being able to be frozen regardless of blood in the body because it is bio matter with flesh and bones. Radiation seems to be the main killer to the disease, but radiation can also kill the host.
Now about the zombie in this video. I feel that the brain fought off the new mutation or experiment and made it explode itself to perserve the secret spore/virus/disease that is controlling the zombie now. It's not a natural process, it's being forced on it. Plus, who are controlling these zombies in the first place? The origin story of the virus changed like a few times in the plot of The Walking Dead, some thought it was God punishing mankind (Hershel) the space spore was referenced in World Beyond (Still makes the most sense to me) or simply a virus. And that is why the zombies look to be a little paranormal in a sense, because a lot of things are retconned in this show (it was 100% aliens at first)
There is a ton of subliminal messaging in this show that shows ufo or comet drawings on walls, the song Spacejunk lyrics are about spacejunk being in the brain (which would make the zombies paranormal and therefore easy plot holes) Chaos theory was discussed in Fear the Walking Dead, a Russian cosmonaut in Fear said he saw the whole planet going dark at the same time, everyone on the PLANET carries the virus/infection which makes no sense unless humans are being targeted by ''something'' and so on.

I still the most craziest zombie experimenting has to go to Resident Evil comics. Where they were experimenting on the scientist and those scientist were keeping diaries of their experiment not realizing they were the experiment until the end when the scientist is writing his last entry and was struggling to get his final words out.
It was from the Wildstorm line of comics from the 90s. It was something official Magazine Part 3. The scientist name was John. He references Ada Wong in his opening monlogue. He was testing the T Virus and they exposed him to the T Virus. But he was so vain he didn't realize it until the end. You can find it on RUclips. Resident Evil official magazine comic part 3.

I think that maybe they used some kind of syrum that causes a little bit of life in the walkers which causes them to sprint and run. But, the walkers are already dead so that's most likely not the case.

Go back and watch the episode of the walking dead where Darryl is trapped in the building and his brother ends up being handcuffed on the roof. In that episode they are in a storefront in that building and the walkers are all at the entrance trying to get in. They are banging against the doors and glass. One walker has what looks like a cinder block or big ass rock and he is bashing the glass with it. Anyone have an explanation foe that?

Per the above comment. The original Director from season 1 wanted the walkers to have some brain activity and perhaps memories of their past life. Once new directors arrived for season 2 this stopped.
In universe it could be explained as that there were some variants depending on different regions and environments. That's how evolution actually works IRL (although it prob wouldn't happen with zombies if they existed).

I must say, this scene subverted my expectations.
They actually evacuated the scientists from the room instead of just casually letting them be eaten by the souped up walkers.
I guess the French realize that smart people with an understanding of complex science/biology are not a ‘dime a dozen' like back in the states and can't afford to just let them be slaughtered to run a one time test.
