    I love stories like this. It really helps me cope with the fact that I suck right now and that I always feel kind of out of place when I have a cube places. I am just at the "9th grade" part of my journey I guess... but at the age of 27 and in college lmao.

      People always think the 2x2 is so easy because the first layer is very simple (even for non-cubers) and then there are only 4 pieces left

    Hi Jperm thank you for this video it’s exactly what I needed to hear as someone who has milked the beginner methods for over 3 years now going back and forth from attempting f2l and back to BM. I’ve started my own RUclips channel and have decided to pump out my videos then have a break and spend the months needed to master f2L.     Started cubing a week ago, I’m sub 45 now with CFOP, 2loll and half way through full pll (I’m on vacation so I have little time to practice algs, more to get used to the cube while doing stuff simultaneously)
    I’m already registered for my first tourney, hope i can get sub 30 till it begins (2,5 weeks) and learn full pll consistently 😁

    A runner who had a 8 month injury in 2018-2019. been injury free for 11 months and then it came up again. Seeing this honestly helped me realize that sometimes stuff comes up but if you can still see the end goal you can get through it. ( just runner trying to be his fastest and trying to get sub 18 average in cubing. love the video dude

    Dylan, you put so much effort into these, it’s just fascinating how they turn out. It’s not just “wow that thing happened to me some time ago”, not only does it cover, like, an actual period of time in your life, it’s also really inspiring, and there’s also this life experience sharing bit. No, not just a “bit”, it’s way more than that!..

    When I started cubing I averaged just over a minute, after watching your videos for half a year I now average 15 seconds!

      I know intermediate Cross, intermediate F2l, 2look oll with some extra Algs and full pll
      Any tips?

      Not Guilty:/ I just did a ton of deliberate practice like 3-4 hours a day learning algs and drilling them (last layer). For F2L, I just did untimed solves and figured out the advanced algs by chance or by watching advanced solves. Then I’d just spend the next month or 2 applying what I learned
