Great shots David! Out of interest, why is the Birdcage always used? Surely a more suitable liveried coach would add to it, or perhaps Stepney in SR black as 2665, something that I believe hasn't been done with non island terriers yet... Nathan!
32655 is limited to hauling only the Birdcage Brake as basically the loco is almost in a mechanically knackered condition so it's the only carriage it can pull on it's own. With the early BR totem on the tank side you can almost get away with the SR olive green carriage as this could have happened during the late 1940's/early 1950's transitional period as not every item of rolling stock was painted into BR colours overnight. Agree though Stepney would look great in Southern livery aswell.
Another super photo charter! Amazing shots! Don't get this on may railway in my area (or I just have not heard about them)! LOL!
Its a little Beauty, and with that carriage , with the lookout at the top , very good
Lovely shots David, the Terriers always bring a smile to my face, wonderful little engines and nice to see the bluebells out too
