Hi! there, I've done this quiz easily. 8/8 The name of the quiz makes me nervous. A good teacher is like a candle it consumes itself to light the way for others. Thanks
8/8 only because you're so good at what you do. When I taught bible study, the very first thing I would teach is this; ask yourself these questions, who's doing the talking, who are they talking to, and what are they talking about. Then turn them loose lol 👍
Ms/Mrs. Sparkle. Good day to you, I would like to express my gratitude in your efforts to help everyone out with their basic English writing. I got 6/8 from your quiz. right 1. Incomplete wrong 2 Incomplete x right 3 Incomplete wrong 4 Complete x right 5 Complete right 6 Incomplete right 7 Complete right 8 Incomplete
The class is remarkable and so is the teacher. I have a question: is it an independent clause: "He said."? Something tells me that it is not, yet I cannot find an answer on my own. It's tricky and puzzling mostly because we have both the subject and the verb. However, as for me, the sentence makes the reader confused. The question is "What did he say?", at least this question comes to my mind when I read it. Thank you so much for this video! Best regards from Ukraine! Eight out of eight!
Thank you, Jennifer, for teaching me the science of English. Again, I'm stunned that I answered every question correctly, which builds my confidence to keep learning from these helpful videos you produce. I am very grateful.
Quite simple quiz;all correct. Thats apart, the video is very much useful and I will avoid using sentence fragments in formal writing , as advised. Thank you very much.
I would like to ask you a question concerning the use of one particular definite article, "This." If it's okay with you, I'd be glad to return and post the sentence it's in so that you might be able to show me and others precisely what is in the context of which it is found this word "This" is referring to. It's really important to me and I will hope you will agree to look at this and reply. Many thanks.

Hi, Sparkle English. Could you do a video about commas after introductory clauses?

we were .Is it a complete sentence???? please reply, who come to this question.
Incomplete because you're missing the predicate (what the subject does). The reader needs more information.
