On one hand I agree on the industry being an unending cycle of stratocasters and needing some innovation, on the other you could have convinced me this was a design from aliexpress. At least whoever wants it but can't/doesn't want to afford it only needs a neck, a slab of wood and a tiny bit of work to have a clone.
I wouldn't be surprised if knock offs show up on Temu within the month hahaha

I used to have the j5 tele with the metal pickguard and that was massive so there's no way this thing is light with a full body metal pickguard
How did the Tele play? I always thought J5 had cool guitars
@@anndynegative it was only the Squier model mind you but I thought it played very similar to my standard MIM Tele however it didn't sound great... it was better when I changed the bridge pup to a Dimarzio Evolution but IDK I never really meshed with it so I ended up selling it
@@JeffManseau very fair. Sometimes Squier is amazing for the price, sometimes not so much. Guess it just depends on the guitar and the player
It's cool but I prefer the ESP guitars, the Epiphone Casinos, the Les Pauls and the Stratocasters if you wanna create punk/emo/new wave music.
