Your videos are so good - no unnecessary talk, or you just talking into the camera. I'm learning a lot watching you do all this work. Your house is looking beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the little ruin.
You are crazy talented! Fantastic job rebuilding that wall AND the wooden scaffold you made was amazing too, haha! Rooms cleaned up nicely. Looking forward to next video.
Thank you for sharing your renovation. The amount of work you get through is amazing. That wall looks much stronger now. Hope you also are finding time to relax over the summer too. 👍🏻☺️ I did laugh at the cider !!
I take my hat off to you. What a daunting task to save that house/wall. You go about things in a safe methodical way and you have so many skills. This was a great video! Thanks.
As usual you never cease with your workload, very impressive I do hope you have holidays in midst of all your renovations. I enjoy your videos very much.
That was quite a challenge which you rose to. Glad to see that you have started the clearance of the second house 😊 Hope you had a decent beer once that was finished 😊
As always, you do the most amazing work! So exacting, which makes it a pleasure to watch you. I wish I had someone as conscientous as you around - my house needs a lot of work, most of it cosmetic.
Awesome job fixing the wall, the garden is coming along nicely. It is unfortunate the cider was no good, looking forward to your future projects. Hopefully the rest of the walls stay upright. Good Luck.
As always you did a bang-up job with the repair. I bet you are glad to have all that garbage out of the second house rooms. Reward yourself and go have some potato salad.
Hi Alex, greetings from Brittany. Fab and safe job, Well done you great tips on how to do things safely as well. Shame about the cider but I do hope that you managed to keep those bottles; Looking forward to the next vlog🙂
Goodness you have been busy. Where is the second house as you call it, related to the one you have been renovating? Lots to keep you busy for quite a while yet. Best wishes.
The other house is right next door to the main one. Looking from the road it to the left. You can just see it on the title photo, between the garage and the white barn
That is why I used LIME mortar to build the wall. The cement is only a waterproof cap to stop the ran getting into the wall by sitting on the top, where it would cause the same damage again. Just like a stone built house has a roof to stop the rain getting in the top of the walls.
Merci pour votre commentaire. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas les fonds nécessaires pour reconstruire entièrement cette maison, mais j'espère pouvoir l'empêcher de s'effondrer davantage.
Most of the wire holding the caps on has rusted through when it sat buried under all the debris, so air has been able to get in making it go off. There are a few though that are still wired on tight so some may be ok
love the way you built the wooden platform to take the scaffolding and then how easy you made it look balancing on top of it all. yet another very interesting video , pity about the cider. look forward to the next one as all ways.
Interesting to see that you are not wetting the stone wall before putting mortar on. I see that all other stonemasons do this so the stones don’t suck the moisture out of the mortar.
The stones are pretty damp already, they have been sitting in a pile in the garden. After a few weeks of almost continuous rain on them they have only dried out on the surface.

Has the cider turned into vinegar? You might be able to use it for cleaning or for salad dressings.
Excellent work ✅

Cement and natural stones don't coop together.

Nice repair job . WELL DONE
Lucky you, weeding inside the other house!
I enjoyed this one. What a lot of work clearing those rooms. Sad that the cider was bad.
Most of the wire holding the caps on has rusted through when it sat buried under all the debris, so air has been able to get in making it go off. There are a few though that are still wired on tight so some may be ok
Will you be putting some sort of roof covering. Great work with the stone work and clearing out the two rooms.

Great job, I admire your thoroughness, must have been quite daunting. Will you restore the little house?
Wow
Brilliant job.
Yes, the wall will now stand 100's of years.
impressive stone work!
Lol I did wonder if you tried the cider. What a shame it's spoiled. What are your end plans for the old house.
Great work. Do you have plans to make that an inhabitable house to rent or use?
I would love to fully rebuild it, but sadly I don't have the funds. What I want to do is prevent it getting too much worse.
If you added a buymeacoffee link,I would donate😊
Are you going to leave a " message" or surprise for the next home owner?
😀👍🪜🔨
I🦘🦘🦘I have waited so long for work to the other houses. Yay🦘🦘🦘
