Woah!! fantastic result. So interesting to watch your work .
Thanks, using the small sander takes longer but actually it is still quicker than going out, hiring a big floor sander, then taking it back afterwards. Plus I like the fact that the floor keeps some of its imperfections and undulations, things that the big floor sanders remove.
The wallpaper was in the bargain bin as it was end of line. The checkout girl went to great lengths to explain (in French) that I wouldn't get any more to match if I needed it, as I only had three rolls which she was sure wouldn't be enough - the French tend to paper EVERYTHING, the walls, doors and ceiling of a room. I still have a roll and a half left.
Just superb. I always look forward to the 'feature wallpaper' segment and I'm so looking forward to the restoration of the front garden wall/railings. The biggie has got to be reno of the out buildings although I'd be loath to remove the interior wood support framework, it's a work of art in itself.
@@frenchhouseadventure I can understand that. I once watched an Italian who renovated up the outer stone walls of his cottage and built a house within a house off a framework similar to yours, it was a basic OSB board job and it looked superb. Just a thought.
Always enjoy your videos. Your work is always done so well and such precision. Do you live here full time and what will you do with all the bedrooms? Do you have a lot of guests or were you thinking B&B? Thanks for sharing.
@@lindamounts2193 yes, we live here in France full time, the extra bedrooms were just a bonus, was only looking for two. Running a BnB is too much work, lol
Yes, to comply with French standards for house wiring I had to have a TV and telephone (RJ45) socket in each bedroom. This was so I could get the "arette" removed from the building to live in it.

The room looks great! Comfortable, restful and relaxing. Nice job!
A complete tour of the finished home would be welcomed.
The trick with the bag was BRILLIANT!!!
Le rendu de la pièce est magnifique Félicitations
Hope you do a walk through soon. Great job!
I love your work as always and I also love the colour you chose for the walls. That was a great tip about the plastic bag taped to the wall.
Looks great well done 😊
Another job brilliantly done. So so envious of your many skills.
Beautiful floor and lovely room
Wow, the floor sanded beautifully! Room looks terrific.

Looks great. Like how the renovation has come along.
Another great room folks, thanks for posting.
Love the trick with putting a plastic bag to catch the plaster dust.
Something I've always done, most things come in a plastic bag so there is usually one handy. If I don't make a mess, I don't have to clear it up.
What a nice room it is now
Just lovely. Well done...again😁.
What a superb job (as always) 😊
Fabulous
Very nice love the wall paper

Not sure I have the budget for a full restoration of the other house.

@@frenchhouseadventure I agree. And you have certainly greatly increased the value of your home and land. I'm sure your wife is quite happy with it.
You have done so much work. Were you in the building trade in the UK?
No, just keen at DIY

Will there be double mattresses to make it higher, easier to stand up
@@Francis-kw9ui yes of course, it's on order
Is this telephone and TV antenna sockets?
