This dude is going places. By the way, anyone knows what kind of headphones that are he wears? See a lot of DJs/producers with those headphones and would like to do some research on them.
ok.. ready? 3 steps: 1. group 3 bass patches, name them low/mid/high. Lo is a sine wave, usually mono. Mid is two saw waves, one detuned for classic reese sound; High is something with a lo-pass filter with modulation - just flick through presets in Massive til you find something that sounds right. Use EQ and Filters until they sit on top of each other. 2. multiband compression - I create 3 buses for this, again low/mid/high. Lo has lo-pass filter 50hz, fast compression and summed to mono; mid has FabFilter, CamelPhat and a stereo widener; Hi has lo-pass or band filter and more stereo widening. 3. route drums and bass to a new track and use GlissEQ to boost 0-100hz, and 3000-12000 hz, and API-2500 compressor to glue the whole thing together. Oh and 4 - use two reverb sends, 1 long tail, 1 short tail.. Waves R360 works for me every time. You may need to spend some money to get the plugins I've mentioned but believe me it's worth it. Good luck! You're welcome.
no worries.it took me 5 years to work that stuff out from trial and error and pro youtube tutorials.. it's time to pass on the knowledge.. You should get some pretty fat basslines out of that process.. FabFilter is amazing on the Drum bus as well as Mid Bass. happy producing dude!
Or he's a real dnb fan who knows the good stuff and can see this for what it is? :O The fact is it DOES all sound the same as all his other songs. Yeah, he's got that unique sound, but if you're using the same synths, chord progressions, and vocal techniques in every song is that really the mark of a good musician?
who cares all the songs are good anyways and give a really good vibe xD also I wouldn't really say they're ALL the same, Falling for example is different and same with Stand By You and One Last Picture, they're different and give off a different vibe. even if he has songs that sound similar they are still fun to listen to and very catchy and by far the only DnB album where I literally like every single song in it and that's very rare for me
***** Yeah but they actually aren't that good... I feel like you need to do some proper liquid funk research. Try Q-Project, Craggz & Parallel Forces, Utah Jazz, Calibre, D.Kay, M.I.S.T., otherwise I want to say the closest GOOD producer to Maduk would be Makoto, mostly because he uses really clean sweet-sounding synths as well.
***** but searching around is haaaaaaaard, lol I prefer being lazy and let the music pop up in my sub box xD thats why I like these channels that feature a huge variety of producers, no need to take a huge chunk of my day looking around for music, I've got shit to do fam haha but yea Makoto is pretty good though :) but like I said there's a reason why Maduk is so successful, maybe you don't like it but its definitely selling like hot cakes so he must be doing something right
... last mo .. f it! ... few b4 me z 99.. fine w that... but might burst the first coz suddenly rules come about... kinds neun n neinchich if of b so is ... half crazy.... i figure... but hun dont tjink ..

You're right, I don't think it is

The nerdest question ... How to create a bass like this in massive (or) ? :)

I Hope atleast 1 maduk song ends up on Forza Horizon 3 Hospital Records Radio ;)
Agreed :D
Totally agree with you! I hope it is either "The End (Feat. Voicians)", "Never Give Up", or "Got Me Thinking (Feat. Veela)".
Dont forget a fifa, that shit helps so much with exposure :p
DANNYonPC
eh Fifa sucks though, Drum & Bass fits so much better in Forza imo
I hope too
Amazing :))) c(:
Атпусти меняяяяя
who came here from voidapex PoE montages ? :P
Sounds identical to all the other ones, but I cant be right...he's successful...
surely you're not a dnb fan saying that
