  • Playing a golf shot with an iron V.S playing the driver are two very different tasks. Depending on our low point and out angle of attack, our (default) swing can sometimes lend itself more to one or the other. After some sequencing work, we worked on low point with the irons allowing that to then transfer through to the woods.
Huge thanks to Steve and Steve for letting us share their lesson with you guys!

Once you trust your movements, especially the lower body, you can really let go and swing. I know it takes a lot of confidence to do so, but the results are awesome. That was the hardest part for me, learning and trusting myself to let go. Submission is an excellent word to use, because once you do submit, you’re on your way. Be patient, keep at it, it takes time, but it will come, and when it does, look out. You’ll not want to go back to your old swing, ever, wonder why you didn’t learn this years ago. This is the essence of Zen. Cheers.

Another fantastic example of personal lessons producing amazing results. I’ve taken a lot of golf lessons in my lifetime. None of them improved my golf swing and ball striking as much as just watching and applying the concepts and exercises presented and demonstrated in your videos.
Two axioms come to mind: I wish I knew then (45 years ago) what I know now. Better late than never.
    Thank you.

Another great video! Just checking for woods with the ball on the ground is the swing the same as for irons ie more of a steep swing?

Danny, dont slice as much as I used to, but trouble shot is more a push then when ball lands bounces hard right into trees or long grass, anything for that or as per video.
