Katy Perry chatted with “Extra” after the top 10 were revealed on the latest “American Idol” episode. She spoke about thinking Jelly Roll could take her place after he served as a mentor earlier in the season, saying she also thought Meghan Trainor and Gene Simmons were great on the show. Katy stressed that whoever steps in will have to give constructive criticism and called herself a “tough love mom.”
