And regarding this guy, he has a history of being literally obsessed with Katy for over 9 years..and now when he is broke and struggling, he turns a complete 180, deletes all his social media posts of him worshipping katy, and tries to defame her character for his own sympathy? If you want to believe him, go ahead. But seeing Katy Perry on the spotlight for over a decade, i think even your conscience tells you whose character is what.

I'm listening to this because I'm practicing my listening since English isn't my native Language and when she said she loves the English language because there's plenty of idioms, phrases and puns that you can use to express yourself, I really felt that... I've never been able to express myself the way I do when I speak English, it's a beautiful language and it's also easy to learn which makes it 100% better
We have a similar story, I speak Portuguese as my native language but I feel 100% more confident when I'm speaking English, and what she said made my day for real!

You are a beautiful person, I love how kind you are towards people around you even when people are nasty towards you. That shows me maturity and strong character, I admire your positive attitude even when things get tough. You are beautiful no matter what because it's your spirit that shines through.

I feel like Katy isn't so hard on herself anymore, she seems way more relaxed than during the Witness era. I really like here new hear, I think she's worn it like that a few years ago
However, I really wish there was another song like Part of Me. I like Never Really Over but it's just not the same level as the songs of Teenage Dream and also Prism were on
It's like... she took a long time to prepare and release Witness. She invested a lot in the concept and the whole era ended up being hugely criticised. I think she was not ready for it... there was a time that anything she released would be relevant even if it was not a mega hit, and Witness lost all its hype quickly after the release. Adding that to other personal issues... it was not a great time. Now she's releasing songs trying not to expect much from the public and it's a good thing.
Personally, I miss more her sound from One of the Boys than TD or Prism... but all those eras came at the right time and trying to go back to them would be kind of pointless, I think...
Fábio Rodrigues I also love Hot 'n' Cold and I kissed a girl, but I love her interpretation and just her amazing voice in Never Really Over as well. However, in general a song itself and its hook plays an important role and I don't know if you know Max Martin, but he stood behind so many pop hits, not only ones by Katy. He just seems to have some magical talent and I would love him and Katy to work together again; Max Martin would deliver the supercatchy song and Katy Perry her inimitable voice
But maybe Katys time is just over because nowadays people listen to Capital Bra and stuff; not the nice pop anymore we used to have several years ago with Avril Lavign, Beyonce, Rihanna
Listen to what Beyonce and Rihanna are doing now, it's worlds between today and 5-10 years ago. By the way these singers have worked together with Max Martin for their most popular albums
@@tobiasmast6381 When I mentioned One of the Boys album, I didn't really mean those two singles, but the whole Pop Rock vibe from the remaining tracks. It was the style she also had in her previous unreleased stuff which is some of my favourite from her, and those songs represent a creative time not affected by the huge expectations people put in everything she releases now. That being said, I admire all her eras, and I enjoy these recent singles too. I understand why they're not bombastic hits, but I don't mind it. Sure, working with Max Martin would be something nice. And too bad Dr. Luke turned out to be a very problematic figure in the industry. He also was an expert producing amazing pop hits, but he's an awful individual and few people would want to be associated with him now...

I get what you are pointing out, but I have to say I do not like small talk and 365 but I do like Never Really Over. So even if she feels more free and under less pressure now, after Witness flopping she just needs a hit or a new style because except from Never Really Over Katy's current releases are honestly crap which is why they are not on the radio

I really liking this Katy Perry. I mean, I’m not the one to decide and everyone is what they are at every moment. But in my personal opinion I appreciate this personality. I feel is organic, deep, substancial and transparent for me to listen and lose myself in her words and opinions about music and life.

It makes me sad when celebrities say they never read the comments. Of course there are haters, but there are so many more positive things in comments that get missed. No one wants to hear criticism about themselves. But, by avoiding the negative, all the love is also missed.

shawn1428 Personally, I think Witness is her most cohesive and interesting body of work she’s made. I can see how it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but i loved it and think it’s her best album, though i love them all. Her vulnerability in the album is what really makes it stand out.
