- “Extra’s” Mark Wright caught up with Katy Perry after the “American Idol” Season 21 finale! She spoke about the emotional night and if she’ll be back next season. She also dished on the highlight of her time in London to perform at King Charles’ coronation.

I think she should stop Americal Idol. Singers younger that her have more albums, tour etc. She stays back because of this show. She is amazing at it, but she has to move on. She is almost 40 and for example Taylor Swift who is ypunger has so many more albums. She deserves awards, more touring, more cheering for her and not others. I hope she ends this and see her talent and artistic side for a long time. Not being corrapted for the show. I think she's done enough for the show but the show slowed her career down. Fans deserve more and it's sad because other artists' fans have their loved one giving them things. We Katy cats get a song once in a while. We should get albums, a tour, dvds...it's not selfish, but all fans want to see their idols. We got to see her at the coronation, at the cma's, but we need and deserve i think more. If she continues idol, i will be very disappointed. Always love you Katy! ❤
@Ok it's about the fans who love the star. If Katy continues judging she will not tour, have an album etc. She told it herself. She is jealous of other artists and the freedom they have. She told she want to see her fans again. It's not up to me. She wants it too.

Of course she's gonna try to spin it to be her "idea" to leave AI instead of facing the backlash of all her unflattering behavior. She is rude to people, she pretends to be some huge star but bless her heart she's just another glorified performer. She really has no business judging singing.
@@LargeMarge8671 she is a huge star. Go see her records, her sellings etc. She is qualified to judge singing as she has a successful career and many awards. She proved it 6 years now. She doesn't need excuses to leave the show. She was never rude to anyone. Those who can't stand a joke is their problem. That mom who said she shamed her, she started it by saying sth about Katy laying on the table and Katy said you are laying on that. Katy is sympathetic and lovely. If you are someone who has a negative view of the things or a hater, you can't see it.

I hope she leaves the show. It is holding her back from being the artist her fans want her to be. Younger singers have more albums than her, more tours. She is consumed by this. Every interview is about the show. The fans need the artist, not the judge. I hope she leaves the show this time!
