Want to get a BMW e92 on my own so knowing that I can have the original GPS and an awesome Android powered touchscreen Navigation helps a lot with buying decision.
No I can look also for older BMWs with navigation that dont have the USB input on their own.

Hi, I am interested in upgrading the CCC from my bmw e60 and I have few questions if you don't mind.
1.I understand that radio will be from the original car. If I am in the radio window and I am receiving a call it will be connected automatically to the android Bluetooth?
2.If I am in Radio window, and somebody is calling me,can I see it on the display?
3. If a want to listen to radio and then go on the android system, for example in navigation system, radio will still play?Can radio work in the same time with the google maps display?
4. The original buttons near the Idrive will have the same command? If i press navigation button will take me to navigation? Radio to radio? Tellephone to telephone list? Back button one step back?

Salut! Ești sincer mulțumit de calitatea audio după upgrade?vreo diferență în mai bine sau mai rău? Eu am un e92 din 2008. Am ratat CIC-ul la mustață și ma gândesc sa fac același upgrade.
Looks perfect! I've installed a similar navigation on my BMW E91 but the "car-info" function and the buttons "media and radio" on the IDrive controller are not working. Just a clock appears. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

Hi I just got exact same navigation on my 2008 E93, everything looks good, except there is no any sound come out from speaker? The original car sound working well. Did you had same experience during installation?

杉崎健司 if you manually select aux input from original car stereo, still no sound? When installing the navigation did you move the 2 optical cables from the original plug to the new one? If yes, maybe there is somehting you need to change in the settings. To go to factory settings you need to enter code 1314
Yes I moved 2 green optical cables to original plug. I went 1314. The CAN only has E60. Maybe it is not for E93. But CCC working well.

salut. poti sa imi dai un mesaj privat daca doresti, sau imi poti scrie aici. eu am masina de 5 ani acusi. navigatia asta o am de aproape 1 an si sunt foarte multumit. mai are ea bug-uri ocazional ca na.. e totusi android(nu am vazut android fara bug-uri). dar clar este un upgrade necesar pentru un E90. o problema cu care ma confrunt este ecranul care ar trebui sa fie anti glare(ceea ce de fapt este, dar touchscreen-ul de peste el nu e) si se reflecta o gramada de chestii. vara asta as vrea sa pun o folie mata pe el.cu plusuri, cu minusuri eu zic ca merita

Văd că ai Navigația de ceva vreme. Ești încă mulțumit de ea? A meritat investiția? Mă gândesc să imi iau și eu pentru că ar completa câteva chestii pe care CCC nu le are însă mi-e un pic teamă să nu fie kitsch.
Și două întrebări, dacă nu te superi: 1) merge PDC-ul? 2) Poți asculta muzică in timp ce folosești google Maps sau waze?
salut. sunt foarte multumit, o folosesc in fiecare zi, sincer sa fiu nici nu am mai intrat in cea originala. dintre toate variantele posibile aftermarket, asta e cea mai profi

Hey man great video! I had just one question if you could help me out. I have a 08 e60 with ccc and just installed the same unit in my car. Everything seems to work great however no matter what i play through the deck the sound quality is not as good as it is thru aux. There is also a quite noticeable static noise when playing music and even can be heard when you turn off the track but leave the volume turned up. Any help would be great man and thank you!
William Alexiev that is weird,maybe you did not connect everything ok. Anyway, check my other video in the description, there i am showing how to setup the audio options and i talk about sound quality
Did you disconnect the car battery before mounting the unit?

Hi , I installed the same in my 2006 e90 CCC idrive, but when i install and did a initial test before putting all trimming back my canbus when nuts, wiper blade sweeping and washer pumping etc. but had no control over it, no ignition, i had to pull the ground terminal off my battery to stop it. did you encounter this with yours? i have asked the supplier, but pretty useless.
that's quite wierd. and as soon as you take it off, your car works just like normal? did you make all the installing corectly? did you transfer the optical cables from the old plug to the new plug as well? if you are sure that you did the whole installing correctly, then you might have a faulty unit. i never had any issues with mine

Just install a unit similar to this. Having problems with phone calls..sometimes it's clear and sometimes it's disturbed.

I have just a question, did you find a way to desactivate the dimming of the screen when u put the headlights on? in my country i have to drive with lights on even during the day, so the screen is dimming automatically and no options to change it, do you have a trick? options? cable removal?

unfortunately no. i drive with headlights on all the time. the dimming is not connected to the dashboard dimming and if you checked, once this navigation is connected you can not change the brightness in your original CCC anymore either. i am not sure if this can be fixed by software or bmw coding or it requires a hardware mode. to be honest it is annoying me as well, but if i will not be able to find a software fix this summer probably i will leave it like this. i don't feel like opening the whole thing again. if you find any solution please let me know as well
Hi, I have the same system in my car and it works great I just have one issue...the idrive control doesn’t work very well on the android system but works great on the standard stock system when I switch over...any ideas? Anything I might have forgotten to connect?
sometimes mine is sluggish as well, but 95% of the time works good. i think that is the downside of having something aftermarket
I've heard that the adio quality suffers when you switch to this..but shouldn't the audio becoming from the radio? I was gonna install an aftermarket radio for subwoofers and this. Would I still control the audio from the after market radio or this ccc upgrade
I've one very important for me question. DOes it support DAC (digital audio converter) that connect to usb and appears as audio output ? I has installed Fisher DSP in my E90 with DAC extention card., so I need to know would it work with it.

Buna, am achizitionat si eu acest modul si desi masina avea navi mare , se vede doar pe 2/3 din ecran vechiul sistem. Cea cu android se vede bine. Sunt din Timisoara, ma poti ajuta?

music quality depends on the source you have ofc. for example some of the music i copied are 320kbs mp3's. but i think you can even play flac in android if you wish. so to answer your question, there is no loss in sound quality. and there is one thing i did not mention in the video. the aux cable from the kit remained unused. aparently the player switches to aux mode using the plug from inside the dashboard. so you dont have to pull cables until your armrest or where you have the aux jack imput. i think you can actually still use that like before ( i did not try )

salut. e la fel da. cred ca merge hard extern, dar mai bine ramai la un stick de 64-128gb. nu am testat aux dupa ce am folosit navigatia pt ca nu a mai fost nevoie. dar cred ca functioneaza.

You need to go to the hidden settings, usually the password is 1314 and u need to switch to another type of idrive

Salut, de ceva timp caut sa fac un upgrade pentru CCC-ul meu, am vaz materialul tau si arata destul de bine, am intrebare cum e sunetul prin AUX e ok ? si o mare rugaminte spune-mi te rog de unde ai dat comanda o adresa ceva ca sunt interesat.
salut. se aude foarte bine, nu am probleme cu el. dupa 1 luna de folosinta singura chestie care ma deranjeaza e ca daca am angel eyes sau luminiile pornite scade backlight-ul la display. pe timp de noapte e ok, ziua e mai nasol. si e de recomandat sa se puna o folie anti glare pe display. in afara de asta, totul e perfect. am pus in descriere link-ul de unde am dat comanda

Salut, multumesc mult de raspuns, am inteles, am vaz de unde ai comandat, iar ca scade intensitatea luminoasa la display este un inconvenient, eu locuiesc in UK si in timpul meu liber mai fac codinguri la baieti care mai vor ceva in plus, eu am un 545I MSport si practic as vrea sa ii fac retrofitting la CIC masina e pregatita e gata codata decat sa iau decizia cu care sa merg, iar pt tine ce putere are alternatorul tau cati amperi are ? este posibil ca sa fie putin mai mic, normal nu ar trebui sa scada intensitatea la display, sunt sigur ca se poate rezolva asta, daca te pot ajuta cu ceva te rog intreaba-ma si cu mare placere.
Multumesc mult si o seara frumoasa
nu are treaba alternatorul/bateria cu un consumator atat de mic. aici e strict legat de brightness-ul displayului pe zi vs noapte (cand ai pozitii sau faruri aprinse). asa cum poti seta intensitatea luminiilor din bord atunci cand ai luminile aprinse asa ar trebui sa mearga si asta. din pacate chiar si cu acea lumina de bord setata la intensitate maxima face la fel. in mod normal in setari la idrive-ul original poti seta brightness-ul, dar dupa ce cuplezi navigatia asta si scoti display-ul original ramane pe 50% si nu poti modifica (repet asta in meniul original).desi nu e nici de acolo problema. undeva in mufa de alimentare e distribuit un cablu catre navigatia android al carui voltaj e influentat de acest mod day/night. sunt sigur ca daca imi bat capul pot sa il codez sa nu mai faca asa, dar ce voi face de fapt este sa codez modulul de lumini pt ca oricum mai vreau sa fac niste modificari, si totusi pe timp de noapte e mai ok sa fie brightness-ul mai mic. nu e ceva foarte deranjant repet.
ps: daca ai cic deja achizitionat, atunci pune-l pe ala. daca nu ori pui NBT ori asta pe android. Android-ul e net superior fata de toate, chiar si fata de NBT. sunt multi cu masini 2013+ care trec pe android, pentru ca nu mai ai nici o limitare.
ce ma gandesc e ca nu cumva la naviatia originala eu sa fi setat pe mod de zi brightness-ul la 100% si pe mod de noapte la 80%, iar acum nu mai imi permite sa modific setarile, deoarece e un cablu care ramane neconectat de la fosta navigatie. Ecranul original are si un senzor de lumina in el, lucruri care sunt transmise catre centralina printr-un cablu cu 5-6 fire daca imi amintesc bine. pe langa asta e si cablul de semnal video. cel de semnal va veni in noua navigatie (si daca comanzi din china trebuie specificat exact daca ai cic sau ccc pentru ca acest cablu e diferit), iar celalalt nu va mai fi bagat niciunde. Nu stiu daca ma deranjeaza chestia asta atat de tare incat sa ma pun sa desfac bordul iarasi sa bag ecranul vechi doar ca sa resetez chestia asta. il voi lasa asa si cum ziceam celalalt post, o sa imi codez modulul de lumini pt ca am FRM 2 care permite foarte multe setari. o sa il porgramez pe modul auto sa tina angel eyes in permanenta aprinse, si cand e noapte aprinde farurile si respectiv se va diminua intensitatea backlight-ului.

Acum am inteles, ok da poti sa codezi modulul de lumini, nu am cumparat inca CIC-ul am vb cu cativa baieti de aici care vand, dar vreau ceva mai avansat decat navigatia standard de la BMW, care ma lasa sa fac mai multe fara limitari cum spuneai si tu, da o sa merg pe un android ca arata bine ca interfata si cred ca are si display-ul o rezolutie buna net superioara fata de cele OEM dupa cum se vede din material,

sorry for late answer. i use it everyday. never used the original navigation anymore. i think its the best upgrade i could have made

Can you use the navigation without touchscreen? Can you use the idrive controller for text input?
you can in the menu and some apps. but not in navigation. that is touchscreen only

Can you use all Apps, and does it work fine, because the android version is pretty old?
just because android is 4.4 it does not mean apps dont work. the version on the navigation was updated in july 2017. all apps work fine

Salut ! Vreau sa montez si eu asa ceva, trebuie sa sosească ... am vazut ca ai folosit antena gps originală sau nu am inteles eu bine , sunt ceva modificări de facut la cablul original ?
Ghita Doreldumitru salut. Nu am folosit antena originala, vine el cu antena. Dar daca vrei pe e90 si nu pe e60 va trebui sa dezlipesti mufa de la gps de pe placa de baza a navigatiei si sa lipesti firul direct, altfel nu vei avea loc sa bagi mufa.

Ghita Doreldumitru nu cred ca va fi cazul sa modifici ceva la navigatie pt e60. Cat despre antena eu am lasat-o in bord, prinsa cu banda dublu adeziva

can I use this to replace my non working CCC navigation system for my 2006 325i E90 BMW?
normaly, i dont see why not... but you should consider if your navigation is not working because the screen is broken or because the central unit is faulty? this should work without the central unit, however it has to trigger the aux imput somehow. so i believe that if your screen is faulty then you are good to go, but if your central unit is broken (not starting) then you should replace that one first. if it;s nor reading dvd's or cd's but starting fine, then it will definately work
tuner200i No my main unit is not working. It's stuck in boot mode loop and most times it won't come on at all. I'm having a hard time finding a cost effect CCC unit

i have ccc with aux in and usb, but i must connect a long aux cable in aux in. why i cant get audio over the green/black fiber cable?! how is the different!?
i dont know. in my case i did not have to connect any cable in the aux in. everything was done automatically.

yes... but you have to specify to the Chinese seller what type of hardware you have on your car.

we dont have spotify here. but i am sure it works
Would have gotten this unit if it didnt have the ugly cutouts for SD card. Reset and menu buttons. It should have been remote mounted and cleaner designed. Its looks and feels way to cheap. This can be re created in a way better form with a Custom Oled panel and a LVDS Matrix

jan gorny there is no hud on the original nav either. You would need a hole in the dashboard for that?
ceau, am instalat navigatia si am 2 probleme cu el
1. nu imi apare navigatia veche pe tot ecranul, mentionez ca ala vechi era CCC Professional cu ecranu mare sti oare dece??
2. Nu imi gaseste google Play-ul, nici o aplicatie GPS
sebeny richi nu iti apare pe tot ecranul pentru ca trebuie sa activezi un “fix” din factory settings. Este un cod acolo 1314 parca daca imi amintesc bine cat despre google play ceva nu cauti tu bine acolo. Dar eu iti recomand sa folosesti sygic care e deja instalat

Salut eu pe a-l meu e90 am navigație aia mică de 6,5" se poate monta asta de 8,8" multumesc.
da, doar ca atunci cand accesezi meniul original vei vedea pe jumate de ecran , sau poti alege sa vezi full screen dar iti va intinde imaginea. cea cu android va arata bine in schimb, full screen si perfect proportionata

Toni Makris i think the one from avin comes with usb also. Its the apple usb cable you have to buy extra. But you could order from aliexpress, i think the guys from avin just dropship it from china anyway. I got mine in about 1 week from china

sunt foarte multumit, dar ar trebui pusa o folie anti glare pe display. nu ma ocup cu asa ceva, dar daca esti din timisoara, sau poti ajunge aici te pot ajuta.
buna, am achizitionat si eu acest modul si desi masina avea navi mare , se vede doar pe 2/3 din ecran vechiul sistem. Cea cu android se vede bine. Sunt din Timisoara, ma poti ajuta?

Marius Săftoiu have you received it yet? Did you have any problems installing it or anything you don’t like? I want to get this for my 04 530i because the CCC screen went blank and I can’t listen to any music and the car doesn’t chime anymore but my actual air conditioning controls work still. it just doesn’t seem legit to me but I would like to know from someone who’s already purchased one. this video is made in my car. so yes, i received it in about 7 days from the above link. just take in consideration that in your car maybe its not the screen that is faulty but the entire unit. if the unit is faulty i dont know how you can switch to aux, so there is a chance you might not have sound until your original unit is working fine.

Salut, foarte fain video-ul, ma bucur ca l-am gasit dupa luuungi cautari online.
Am cateva intrebari: cum ti se pare ca se misca sistemul de operare? In video pare destul de fluid, dar am vazut online pareri cum ca 1GRAM si Quad core de 1.2Ghz e cam putin pentru un sistem android. Pentru muzica ascultata prin Bluetooth de pe telefon, se pot schimba melodiile utilizand controalele de pe volan? Eu vreau sa-l folosesc cu Spotify si m-ar interesa foarte mult acest feature.

salut. ma bucur :) nu ai de ce sa iti faci griji, se misca bine, si eu am renuntat la hardware pentru UI, altele au configuratie mai buna dar arata groaznic. cat despre muzica de pe telefon din ce am incercat eu (destul de putin) nu prea cred ca merge ce vrei tu sa faci. dar poti instala spotify pe android si iti va fi mai la indemana sa schimbi melodiile. oricum per total se misca mult mai ok decat cea originala si nu regret deloc ca am facut acest upgrade. daca ai de gand sa pastrezi masina, cu siguranta merita!
da, cel de pe ebay cred ca e la fel ca al meu. cand am comandat eu nu era in europa deloc. ai grija sa specifici daca ai CCC sau CIC pentru ca difera mufa video. bafta
