Why would the screen go black? Its an android base. So either you installed a crappy app. or you need to go to app store and update your apps (needs wifi to connect). Also go to settings and check for system update (also needs wifi)

However it is ok, when you turn off the car lights. How to increase brightness over maximum mark? Maybe, there is some app?

One big problem. Movies too wide. No actual view. People in movies look wider then they are.
